The Love is Blind: Germany reunion episode, released on Netflix on January 19, 2025, brought the cast back together a year after filming wrapped on the first season. Hosted by Steffi and Chris, the episode revisited some key moments from the show and offered updates on the participants’ lives.

Alina and Ilias, who got married during the season, confirmed that they are still together and recently celebrated their first anniversary. Sally and Medina shared that their relationship has grown stronger since the show, while Jen and Marcel reflected on the challenges that led to their breakup.

The reunion also showed the unresolved tensions among the cast. Hanni and Daniel addressed their current relationship status, describing it as "not just friends." However, Hanni faced accusations from Jen, Alina, and Ilias about her behavior during the show, leading to heated discussions.

Unseen footage was shown which hinted at a potential love triangle involving Hanni, Daniel, and Ilias. Hanni denied any romantic involvement with Ilias and said he was "not her type."

Fans of the show took to X, expressing their views on the reunion episode with some stating that it was a "disappointment."

"This reunion was just a disappointment. No accountability for Ilias! Hanni had the fingers point towards her! I thought #LoveisBlindMexico was bad but #LoveisBlindGermany takes the cake," one fan commented.
"Welp. As the entiere season, this reunion was bad. Hosts attacked Hanni with mean tweets and never questionned any men for their behaviour. We know that when germans fail, they tend to try again but this time, please don't," another user said.
"I didn't even watch the reunion because the couples bored me so much. It's clearly the most drained international season," a tweet read.

Some fans of Love is Blind: Germany expressed that Hanni was treated "unfairly" during the reunion.

"It's so unfair the way they treated hanni at the reunion. From my point of view she flirted with Ilias, but she didn't questioned her feelings for her fiance or her choice. Meanwhile, Ilias was extremely disrespectful to Alina during the show," a fan wrote
"This reunion sucks. How are most of these questions directed at Hanni? Waste of a reunion," one netized tweeted
"It’s very painful to see Hanni being attacked constantly in Live is Blind Germany The Reunion, Even the host didn’t do justice," another user commented
