Married at First Sight season 18 episode 9 premiered on December 17 on Lifetime. The episode, titled You Into Some Crazy Stuff?, featured a session between Ikechi and Emem with expert Dr. Pia Holec.

During the session, Ikechi vented his frustrations over Emem’s s*xual advances. He shared that his wife constantly tried to push him into certain intimate situations despite him saying no.

When Dr. Pia asked him the reason that made him feel aggressive, he said that sometimes he felt like Emem saw him as "just a piece of meat in the house."

“It just feels like every time… not every time, but it feels like there are times when I’m just a piece of meat in the house," he said.

"How can I continue to tell you, I said no" - Married at First Sight star Ikechi wants Emem to stop her advances

In Married at First Sight season 18 episode 9, newly married couple Ikechi and Emem sat down in front of expert Dr. Pia Holec to discuss their recent developments.

Ikechi shared during the sessions that he was struggling to deal with Emem’s s*xual advances. He said that his partner tried to initiate s*x even though he told her multiple times that he was not ready for it.

"That seemed to have been like, the turnoff, and then she started to act funny with me," he added.

The Married at First Sight star stopped her and expressed that he didn’t want to constantly feel like he was "walking on eggshells" every time he was around her in their apartment.

After expressing his concerns, Ikechi recalled asking Emem about her feelings. She revealed that she was bothered by the fact that he frequently reminded her that he didn’t know her well.

She also didn’t appreciate being called "aggressive." However, Ikechi remained firm in his stance, reiterating his "aggressive" comment and telling her that he didn’t want to be intimate with her.

“She said, ‘Every time you say that you don’t know me, it bothers me. When you say that I’m aggressive, it bothers me.’ And I was like, ‘You’re aggressive. How can I continue to tell you, I said no. I don’t want to do that,” Ikechi recalled.

As Ikechi vented his concerns during the meeting with Dr. Pia Holec, Emem sat beside him, remaining silent and listening quietly to her husband.

The Married at First Sight star further expressed that sometimes he felt like Emem saw him as just "a piece of meat in the house."

He was frustrated by the pressure he was receiving from Emem to move forward in their relationship. Ikechi felt that his wife kept pushing him into intimate situations that he was not ready for.

Even though he constantly told her to stop, she dismissed his concerns possibly using their marriage as a reason to expect certain things.

“Things that I’m not ready for she’s like, ‘let’s go,’ and I’m like 'Look I just told you to stop'. I’ve expressed that. And it just seems like… 'what the f*ck you takin about well you’re my husband.' And I’m like, 'but I don’t know you',” Ikechi shared.

Ikechi later nodded with a 'yes' when Dr. Pia Holec asked him if Emem was violating his "concerns."

Married at First Sight season 18 episodes are released every Tuesday on Lifetime. The season featured 10 singles dealing with the problem of finding love.

They met for the first time and took a bold leap by marrying at first sight. The resulting couples include Emem and Ikechi, David and Michelle, Madison and Allen, Camille and Thomas, and Juan and Karla.
