Shark Tank investor Lori Greiner shares a piece of advice to attain success
In the Instagram reel, Lori Greiner reflected on the importance of following one's instinct and doing what one believes in. The Shark Tank investor shared that if someone has an idea or plans on starting a business or launching a specific product, listening to one's inner voice is essential.
According to Lori, there will be a lot of background noise with other people sharing their own opinions and recommending what to do next, but one should listen to themselves first. Lori elaborated:
"What is the best thing I did to be successful? I think the best thing I ever did was I stuck to listening to myself and believing in myself. People, when you create a business or a product, you have an idea, there's gonna be all sorts of opinions."
The Shark Tank investor further said that at the beginning of an entrepreneur's journey, there will be a lot naysayers but the key is to stay consistent with the growth mindset. Reflecting on her journey to becoming a self-made successful entrepreneur, Lori shared that she had strong faith in her vision:
"People are going to be telling you, this can't work or you can't do that or it's been done before and it's failed. I didn't listen to anybody. I did exactly what I believed in, what I knew would work, and what I wanted to do."
