"Leah should've known" — Love Island USA season 6 fans react to Miguel bringing Sierra back from Casa Amor

Love Island USA season 6 released its latest episode on Friday, July 5. It showcased the long-awaited Casa Amor recoupling ceremony, where some new couples emerged.

While the newly formed pairs looked forward to consolidating their relationship, several islanders were rendered single, owing to the decisions taken during the ceremony. One such pair was Miguel and Leah.

Miguel headed to Casa Amor, excited about meeting new singles, while Leah remained at the main villa, struggling to forget him. Although he admitted to having a strong connection with Leah, he still wanted to explore. At Casa Amor, Miguel forged a strong bond with newcomer Sierra.

In episode 22, Leah remained single, deciding not to pair with someone new. She watched in disbelief when she saw Miguel enter, coupled with Sierra. Love Island USA viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their opinion on Miguel's decision and Leah's choice to stay single.

Despite bonding with 'bombshell' Ignacio, Leah remained loyal to Miguel, hoping he would return single. Fans were surprised by Leah's expectations and anticipated Miguel would enter the Love Island USA villa with another girl.

"Staying loyal to the manwh**e Miguel? Big mistake, Leah. You should've just recoupled with Iggy, now I'm forced to watch you get embarrassed #loveislandusa," a fan wrote.

Since the day Miguel entered the villa, his feelings have kept fluctuating as he went from Liv to Nicole to Leah. Therefore, his pairing with Sierra did not come as a surprise to viewers.

Miguel brings Sierra from Casa Amor to the Love Island USA season 6 villa

Miguel was Leah's partner before he went to Casa Amor. At the new location, he met 'bombshell' Sierra, and they immediately hit it off. Although he cherished his connection with Leah, he admitted it was difficult not to be infatuated with Sierra.

"If someone was to extract my internal Mona Lisa and materialize her and hand it to me, that's Sierra. Them lips! That body! The curvature! Brother, and the kiss, darling, do you know how s*xy that was? Casa Amor is Casa Amor-ing," said Miguel.

Before leaving Casa Amor, Miguel seemed unsure about his connection with Sierra. While speaking to Love Island USA co-stars Rob and Kendall, he confessed that he could not disregard his feelings for Leah, but at the same time, he felt attracted to Sierra. He described his relationship with Sierra as an on-and-off thing, which made him feel good in one moment and "lost" in the next.

Leah revealed that she wanted to stay loyal to Miguel at the recoupling ceremony. She felt they were headed in a "really good direction" and wanted to continue pursuing that, but when Miguel entered with Sierra, the Love Island USA cast member appeared shocked.

Since Miguel paired with Sierra, Leah became single. Seeing Leah stand without a partner, Miguel reassured her that he still wished to get to know her. Although he brought Sierra to the Love Island USA villa, he confirmed he was "not in a relationship" and wanted to keep his options open.

"Just 'cause I may be with her, I'm not in a relationship. I'm just here trying to get to know people to make the conscious decision, the right decision, so I can walk away with the right choice," clarified Miguel.

Hearing that, Leah admitted she knew Miguel would bring another girl, but she still liked him.
