"Little worried" — Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Snooki talks to her parents about wanting to find her biological family

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 7 returned with a new episode on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The segment saw Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi invite her adoptive parents to her house to talk to them about wanting to find her biological family.

Snooki was worried if her parents would disapprove of her decision, recalling how emotional they got whenever she raised the subject. Although she felt apprehensive about their meeting, she hoped to earn their consent and move ahead with the search.

While speaking to the cameras, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star noted:

"So I'm just a little worried. I don't wanna upset my parents but I feel like they knew this day was gonna come."

As opposed to her fears, Snooki's parents supported her decision and reassured her that they would have her back at every step of the way. They admitted it was a big change, however, they added they would do anything for their daughter's happiness.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation: Snooki's parents support her decision to find her birth parents

Snooki's adoptive parents, Helen and Andrew Polizzi visited the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star's home on the Thursday episode. Snooki invited them to talk to them about wanting to search for her biological family.

Ahead of their meeting, Snooki revealed to the cameras that the subject was sensitive since it made her parents emotional every time she raised it. She disclosed that her mother would get "teary-eyed," whereas her father would get "a little upset." However, Snooki did not want to upset her parents this time and hoped they were on board with her.

After her parents arrived, Snooki joked and said:

"I brought you guys here today, I'm pregnant...Just kidding, can you imagine?"

Soon, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star confessed she wanted to find and meet her biological family. She recalled how she always desired to have siblings when she was younger. Consequently, she contacted Jersey-based investigating genealogist Pamela Slaton, who agreed to discuss the matter with everyone and begin the search.

After disclosing the news, Snooki mentioned that she wanted her parents to be "comfortable about it." At that point, her father Andrew said:

"You were meant to be with us."

He reminisced about the moment he met Snooki for the first time, recalling how comfortable she was. He revealed Snooki came running to them without any hesitation as if she had known them for ages. The Polizzis adopted the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star in Chile.

However, Andrew confessed he knew that despite their connection, a day would come when Snooki would want to explore and look for her biological family. Hence, the female cast member's decision did not surprise or upset them. On the contrary, he agreed to support whatever Snooki wanted to do.

"I am so relieved. Like, I can tell my dad is freaking out in his head. My mom's holding back her tears," Snooki said.

Helen admitted she thought Snooki would have started looking for her biological family even sooner, but the star revealed she "didn't care" before. Meanwhile, Andrew reassured his daughter that he had "no issues" with whatever she decided to do. Snooki then sarcastically remarked, "I just wanna stalk my siblings, I think."

The 36-year-old star was glad her parents were on board and wished to be by her side on her journey to finding her biological family. She revealed the next step would be her "parents meeting Pamela" and starting the process.

"I'm still gonna be a protective dad and look over...you know, that's just the way it is," Andrew said.
