Love is Blind season 7 introduced viewers to a dramatic turn of events as contestants sought emotional connection during their time in the pods. Couples who decided to get engaged and went to Tulum after forming a bond by having conversations through a wall were: Taylor and Garrett, Ashley and Tyler, Marissa and Ramses, Monica and Stephan, Tim and Alex, Hannah and Nick.

Out of the six couples, Ashley and Tyler and Taylor and Garrett were the two couples who made it to the wedding altar and said yes.

The season 7 reunion was full of confrontations as each cast member addressed the off-camera drama as well. After one year, the couples who formed a connection in the pods reunited, recapping what went down between them once the filming wrapped up.

During the reunion episode, Tyler clarified the claim about his biological children as Ashley stood by his side, Hannah called out Nick for seeking clout, and Marissa's mom questioned Ramses' intentions while Brittany shared that she and Leo were friends.

The Love is Blind season 7 synopsis reads:

"Nick and Vanessa Lachey host this social experiment where single men and women look for love and get engaged, all before meeting in person."

Taylor and Garrett

The Love is Blind season 7 couple connected in the pods through open communication and honesty. Despite having doubts about the social experiment and convincing their families about their marriage, Taylor and Garrett navigated the obstacles in their relationship.

In an interview with Tudum by Netflix on October 31, 2024, Taylor reflected on her journey on the show stating:

“Garrett and I were very independent people before going into this, so meshing two lives that quickly under extraordinary circumstances is a lot, but we’re figuring it out as we go.”

After one year of marriage, the couple decided to move back to DC and figure out their permanent living residence. This decision was made to be closer to both Taylor and Garrett's family.

Garrett also opened up that they both had discussed their boundaries especially when it comes to staying in contact with their respective exes.

Ashley and Tyler

The married couple Ashley and Tyler shared the lessons they learned during their first year of marriage. In the same Tudum by Netflix interview, Ashley stated it was a difficult transition for her to live together with her partner and learning how to communicate better. She said:

“The hardest transition for me was just starting a home together. Apparently it’s not all my way and I’ve had to learn how to pick and choose my battles.”

Addressing the drama about Tyler's biological children and his sperm donation, Ashley mentioned it would have been better if she had known the full picture while she was getting to know Tyler on the show.

However, she did understand Tyler's perspective of keeping the children's identity concealed, which is why he didn't bring up the topic sooner.

The Love is Blind contestant, on the other hand, admitted he could have navigated the situation better and is looking forward to starting a family with Ashley one day.
