Love After Lockup: Couples that are still together

Love After Lockup has completed its fifth season since it first premiered in 2018. Throughout its run, the show has featured numerous couples as they navigate their relationships after a prison sentence.

Some of these couples did not last long, some got married and then went their separate ways, while others are still together and have started their own families. Andrea & Lamar, Brittany & Marcelino, Lamondre & Andrea, and Shavel & Quaylon, are the couples that are still together.

The synopsis of the show reads:

"Love After Lockup follows couples as they navigate the rocky road to the altar after prison release. Will their love survive shocking firsts, fights, and family drama? 4 couples from Love After Lockup are still together

Andrea and Lamar

Lamar Jackson was serving an 18-year sentence for an armed robbery. Andrea Edwards and Lamar fell in love with each other as pen pals, six years before Lamar's release from prison.

They were featured in the Love After Lockup season 1 and Andrea had asked Lamar to get married after his release. However, Lamar was on parole and wasn't able to leave Southern California to move in with Andrea and her three kids in Lehi, Utah. Andrea had to make a tough choice and decided to bring her kids to L.A to live with him.

By the end of season 1, the couple got married in a backyard ceremony. Andrea and Lamar's story continued in Life After Lockup. In the spin-off, they revealed Andrea's youngest daughter, Priscilla, was Lamar's secret child who was born before his release.

They said that she was conceived when they were intimate in the prison when Andrea had come for a visit during Lamar's prison sentence.

In the later episodes of the Life After Lockup spin-off, Andrea's family moved to Ghana for her eldest son Tennison's Mormon mission. Lamar joined them and the couple has been living in Africa together since then.

Brittany and Marcelino

Brittany was serving her prison sentence in Nevada. During her sentence, she met professional poker player Marcelino through her pen pal program. The couple fell in love and were featured in Love After Lockup season 2. Brittany was released in 2018 and had a fresh slate before her with her boyfriend Marcelino.

Although they had a happy ending, their journey wasn't smooth sailing. They had problems with each other's aspects of life; Brittany was bisexual, and Marcelino had controlling issues. They worked on their differences and started their life together in Las Vegas. Marcelino proposed to Brittany and the pair got married by the season 2 finale.

Brittany was pregnant with Marcelino's daughter during their wedding. They welcomed their first child together in 2019 and named her Zoila. Brittany also had a son named Giovanni with her ex-boyfriend Tito. Giovanni was living with his father during Brittany's prison sentence and Marcelino helped her gain her son's custody.

They had a son of their own in 2020 and named him Rebel Santiago who was also featured in one of the episodes of the spin-off Life After Lockup. They had a roadblock in their relationship, but the family of five is still going strong.

Lamondre and Andrea

Love After Lockup season 2 couple Lamondre & Andrea are still together. Inmate Lamondre is seeing release from prison in 2026.

Currently, the pair is running an online clothing business through Lamondre's Instagram account (lamondrefluker_loveafterlockup). On the platform, Lamondre posts photos and videos from his prison life while Andrea posts photos promoting their clothing brand.

Shavel and Quaylon

Shavel and Quaylon were featured in season 3 of Love After Lockup. While they went their separate ways after season 3, they reunited and got married on the spin-off show Life After Lockup.
