Jakeema confronts Donny

In Love After Lockup season 5 episode 56, Jakeema had a conversation with her friend Emma about Donny. She shared that she discovered her partner had been moved to another facility and was facing drug charges. To add to her frustration, she also learned that she had been removed from his visitation list.

After finishing her dance calls, Jakeema finally got a call from Donny, who informed her that he had been transferred to a new facility called NEOCC, which was three hours away from her new place in Ohio.

Jakeema asked her Love After Lockup partner why her name and cash tag were involved in his situation and why he had drug charges.

"I don't know. I'm trying to figure things out. All you're doing is receiving rent money... legitimate money. That's all. It ain't nothing wrong with that. It ain't nothing to do with no, no illegal stuff... ain't nobody doing nothing wrong... everything is, is right with me. And I would never put you in a situation like that," he replied.

He added that being moved to a new facility wouldn't affect his prison sentence and that he would still need to complete his two and a half years.

Kaleigh consults an attorney for Hunter

Later in episode 56 of Love After Lockup season 5, Kaleigh visited a law firm to consult with attorney Arja Shah. She informed the attorney that her visitation with her fiance, Hunter, had been suspended because they "decided to be very naughty on the prison can."

She noted that due to their "big mistake," Hunter lost some privileges, like video and in-person visits. As a punishment, 30 to 60 days were also added to his prison sentence.

When Kaleigh asked the attorney if anything could be done to remove that added time, she was shocked to learn that Arja would charge around $15,000 to handle her case.

"$15,000 is a lot of money, but it is really important for me to continue to hold Hunter down because I really do feel like we're soul mates and we're meant to be together. He's worth it," the Love After Lockup star said in her confessional.

Kaleigh later told the attorney that she had already spent around five to six thousand dollars since meeting Hunter. While she acknowledged that she was spending a lot, she felt it was part of her commitment as his partner and had no doubt that he would return tenfold when he was out.

Rita informed Sam that Krystal was upset because he had canceled their visit at the last minute. Sam explained that work commitments had kept him from making it. The conversation then shifted to whether Krystal had reconnected with her former girlfriend, Britney, who was now back in prison.

As Sam was driving back, he received a call from Krystal, who was very mad at him.
