Love Is Blind is a Netflix reality TV series that premiered on February 13, 2020, and has released six seasons. Created by Chris Coelen, the show features singles who connect through conversations in pods before getting married, as part of a social experiment to find true love.

The show in its six seasons has served entertainment to the audience, but it also has come up with some moments filled with drama and awe. Be it couples saying 'No' at the altar, harsh confrontations, or love triangles.

The official synopsis of Love Is Blind reads:

"Is love really blind? Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey bring together single people looking to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with... without ever seeing them. They’ll go on dates with a catch: they don’t meet face-to-face. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose before laying their eyes on their fiancé for the first time."

1. The love triangle between Matt Barnett-Jessica Batten-Amber Pike

In Love Is Blind season 1, which aired in February 2020, Matt Barnett and Amber Pike got married despite Matt's initial confusion between Amber and another contestant, Jessica Batten. Tension arose when the three reunited during the show's reunion, with Amber accusing Jessica of flirting with Matt.


2. Drama in Mexico

Cartlon Morton and Diamond Jack from season 1 got engaged via pod and sealed their relationship with the ring. The couple went on a vacation in Mexico to discover more about each other. The discovery led to the unveiling of some secrets too. Carlton came out as bisexual, and Diamond felt betrayed and hurt. She called off the engagement, and threw the ring in the hotel's pool, as reported by US Weekly.


3. 'No' at the altar

Damian and Giannina got engaged in Love Is Blind season 1, but drama ensued when Damian said 'No' at the altar. They later reconciled but eventually parted ways. Damian was later seen frequently with Too Hot To Handle star Francesca Farago, according to US Weekly.


4. Who was Jarrette's first choice, Iyanna or Mallory?

In season 2, Jarrette went through the dilemma of choosing between Mallory and Iyanna, as he felt a connection with both via pods. The answer came clear to him after Mallory rejected him.

Jarrette and Iyanna tied the knot at the altar, but Iyanna wanted to know if was she his first choice through the season. The couple soon separated after their first anniversary as Iyanna felt he was a different man off camera, as reported by Daily Mail.


5. Jeremy Hartwell and his lawsuit against Netflix

Season 2 contestant, Jeremy created a buzz when he went all ahead to file a lawsuit against Netflix and the producers accusing them of maltreatment. He accused them of underpaying the cast of Love Is Blind season 2, and depriving them of necessities, as reported by US Weekly.


6. The proposal

Nancy Rodriguez from season 3 received two proposals from Bartise and Andrew Liu. Nancy followed her heart declining Andrew's proposal and chose Bartise, despite having 5 years of age gap.


7. Colen Barnett-Colleen Reed-Zanab Jaffrey triangle

Season 3 witnessed yet another triangle when Colen connected with Colleen and Zanab both. Later on, Colen chose Zanab as he did not feel a connection with Colleen. The drama escalated after the Malibu vacation, after which Colen called Zanab 'passive-aggressive' in front of his fellow Love Is Blind contestants, and the engagement off.


8. The infamous love triangles of season 4

Kwane in season 4 approached both Micah and Chelsea, while Micah herself was strangled in another love triangle.

Another love triangle throughout the season 4 pods, Zack Goytowski was battling between his feelings for both Irina and Bliss. and ultimately proposed to Irina. Surprisingly, the couple ended their relationship before returning from their Mexico Vacation.


9. Aaliyah Cosby and Uche Okoroho from season 5

Season 5 witnessed a blossoming bond between Aaliyah and Uche. They both bonded over their mutual belief and faith. Things turned sour when Aaliyah revealed that she had cheated in her past relationship. The confession made Uche angry but he was glad that she told him the truth.


10. Is Clay Gravesande a rule breaker?

Love Is Blind Season 6 premiered on February 14, 2024. The season welcomed Clay Gravesande, who was matched with Amber Desiree. Amber Desiree was torn between Clay and Mathew.

Clay hindered his path as he went ahead and asked for the details related to Amer, which is against the format of the show. Amber then chose Mathew but was disappointed in the end as she got to know that Mathew was going on, promising the same things to another fellow contestant as well.
