Love is Blind: Argentina returned with another set of episodes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The segment saw the couples step out of the romantic bubble of the pods and into the turbulence of real life. After returning from their honeymoon, the pairs started living together to test their compatibility.
During that period, many contemplated their connections and questioned their preparedness for marriage. Meanwhile, others doubted their intimacy, hesitating to introduce their partners to their families.
In episode 8 of Love is Blind: Argentina, One Week Till the Wedding, the couples faced their fears and confronted unresolved feelings. While some managed to overcome the hurdles, others succumbed to the hardships. Tom and Florfi left the social experiment to let their relationship grow before formalizing it with marriage. Meanwhile, Emily and Santiago clashed over Agustina's lingering presence in their relationship.

While Jose Luis reassured Florencia of his feelings, Maria Emilia met with Mauricio's daughter, Pia. Later, the couples went to try wedding dresses and suits, contemplating their upcoming weddings.

What happened in Love is Blind: Argentina episode 8?
Episode 8 started with a conversation between Florfi and Tom. The Love is Blind: Argentina couple discussed their next steps since Florfi was unsure if she wanted to match the pace of the other couples and get married during the show. While their relationship was "growing," Florfi's desire to get married was not. Tom supported her and requested that she remain transparent about her feelings.
Santiago and Emily celebrated their one-month anniversary by having breakfast in bed. However, when Emily started talking about Agustina's date with Robert, Santiago felt disappointed. The Love is Blind: Argentina star was upset that Agustina was still a topic of conversation between them.
Julieta bid farewell to her dogs and wondered if she should let Ezequiel meet her relatives. She feared her grandmother would "have a heart attack" if she saw all the cameras. Nonetheless, the couple grew closer as they enjoyed a home-cooked meal together.
In another segment, Maria Emilia felt uneasy about meeting Mauricio's daughter, Pia.
"I'm nervous about meeting Pia because she's still really young, and I'm worried it may be a bit overwhelming for her," she said.
However, the meeting went smoothly, and the Love is Blind: Argentina star was impressed by Mauricio's connection with Pia. She looked forward to bonding with her in the future.
Florencia was pleasantly surprised when Jose arranged a romantic dinner for them. Jose Luis went out of his comfort zone and professed his love to her; however, when Florencia urged him to elaborate on his feelings, the Love is Blind: Argentina star struggled to express himself.
"Her demands are out of control. They keep growing," Jose said.
The date scarred Jose Luis and Florencia's relationship. He complained about Florencia's "constant need for validation" and how it frustrated him to prove his feelings to her on a daily basis.
Later, Emily interacted with her friend, Fiorella, and discussed her relationship dynamics with Santiago. She confided in her about Santiago's short temper. Fiorella worries about Emily's well-being, unwilling to let her friend experience the same "psychological abuse" as her last relationship. Despite that, Emily believed Santiago had grown from his previous toxic relationships and wanted to work on improving his attitude.
The following morning, Jose Luis wrote Florencia a letter and gifted her a kitten plushy to reassure her of his feelings. The gesture impressed the Love is Blind: Argentina star, who admitted that it was the "sweetest gift" she ever received. Meanwhile, Florfi informed Tom she was not ready to get married but wanted to keep nurturing their relationship. Ultimately, the couple left the experiment to progress at their own pace.
Soon, the ladies reunited to try on wedding dresses when Maria Emilia's friend discovered Mauricio kept a tab on what his fiancee consumed. Before they could discuss the matter, host Wanda Nara arrived and informed everyone that Florfi had decided against trying on her wedding dress. Meanwhile, Dario Barassi informed the men about Tom's decision to skip the fitting.
One by one, the men and women tried on wedding attires and got emotional imagining their future together. Jose Luis' mother was relieved to see her son try on a suit, knowing how casually he dealt with relationships in the past. Meanwhile, Maria Emilia video-called her mother to show her the dress she chose. The Love is Blind: Argentina star picked a minimalistic dress for herself, whereas Mauricio selected a "flashy" suit.
At last, it was Julieta's turn to pick a dress, but she struggled to find the one she liked.
"Honestly, I don't think I'd wear any of those dresses. None of them are my type," Julieta said.
On the contrary, Ezequiel liked the first suit he saw, saying the outfit was the least of his worries. Despite trying on multiple dresses, Julieta could not finalize one for her wedding. Wanda reassured the Love is Blind: Argentina star that she would help her find her dress even if she had to customize one for her.
Later in the episode, Emily told Santiago the other contestants, including Agustina, would meet at Cordoba. However, Santiago was not keen on discussing other people, especially Agustina. Their conversation soon turned into an argument when Emily cracked a joke Santiago did not appreciate. He said "mean things" in response and hurt Emily's feelings.
Emily confronted Santiago the following morning, but the latter refused to take accountability for his actions. Santiago felt Emily never compromised and made him look bad in conversations.
"It's like we can never meet in the middle. She always has to be in the right, and that's hard. It's tough," he said.
While speaking to the cameras, Emily revealed that how Santiago spoke to her was not what she wanted in her life.
