Love is Blind: Argentina episode 8 premiered on November 13 on Netflix, following the engaged couples as they explored their connection outside the pods. Six couples got engaged throughout the first three episodes.
Two couples - Matias & Brenda, and Florfi & Tom - decided to pursue their relationship outside the experiment as they weren't ready for marriage. It’s unclear if the two pairs continued their connection outside the show and if they are still together.
The other Love is Blind: Argentina couples, Jose & Florencia, Emily & Santiago, Maria & Mauricio, and Julieta & Ezequiel are still together as of episode 8 and are now preparing for their upcoming wedding ceremonies.
Four Love is Blind: Argentina couples are still together after episode 8
Emily and Santiago (engaged in episode 1)
Emily and Santiago were the first couple to get engaged. Before even meeting her future fiance, Santiago had a dream about her name, which helped him initially cement his feelings for Emily.
The couple celebrated their one-month anniversary at the start of Love is Blind: Argentina episode 8. Santiago prepared breakfast in bed for Emily, who was touched by the gesture. Reacting to his efforts she shared in her confessional:
"I didn't think I could love him more, he's such a sweetheart. I thought he might do a little something sweet, but I wasn't expecting breakfast in bed... Every day that passes, I feel our love deepening, and becoming stronger. It's so sweet. We complement each other so well."
Maria and Mauricio (engaged in episode 2)
While Maria and Mauricio shared a strong emotional connection, they lacked physical intimacy. Maria shared that she was struggling to open up to her Love is Blind: Argentina fiance because of the constant presence of cameras around them.
"We didn't have that initial stage of seduction or that initial sexual chemistry, or that eroticism. And I want that. I think we need to explore that part of our connection a little bit more and express ourselves in a way that feels more physically seductive, flirtatious. More of that erotic connection," Maria expressed in her confessional.
Mauricio later shared in episode 7 that while they weren't at the intimate level hoped for they managed to connect during private moments. Maria preferred to keep her intimate moments with her partner private and off-camera.
Maria met Mauricio's sister in episode 7 and his daughter in episode 8. These encounters allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of Mauricio, giving her more confidence about their upcoming marriage.
Julieta and Ezequiel (engaged in episode 3)
Ezequiel had second thoughts about his relationship with Julieta in episode 7. He felt he showed a lot more affection towards her while she was distant. The 32-year-old businessman had a conversation with his partner, where he considered the possibility of leaving her.
Explaining her side Julieta later expressed in her confessional that she was not the kind of "person who's always saying sweet things, or hugging and cuddling all the time."
Understanding each other's concerns, the couple decided to work around the issue and got on the same page by the end of episode 8.
"When I'm around Ezequiel, I feel so much love. We had a disagreement about the amount of affection he wants from me. That's the biggest issue right now. However, I think we can find a middle ground if we both make a real effort," Julieta said in her confessional.
Florencia and Jose (returned in episode 5)
Jose and Florencia had their eyes set on different contestants while they were in the pods. While they failed to get engaged to their potential suitor, they found each other outside the experiment and instantly forged a relationship.
The couple returned to show in Love is Blind: Argentina episode 5 and joined the rest of the engaged couple as they were preparing themselves before their upcoming wedding ceremony.
Initially, Jose struggled to articulate why he loved Florencia, but by episode 8, he understood how she wanted to be treated, ultimately winning her over.
Love is Blind: Argentina episodes 1 to 8 are now available to stream on Netflix.
