Love is Blind Brazil season 4: Evandro and Ariela clash over old text messages

Love is Blind Brazil season 4 dropped new episodes (5-8) this week on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. During the segment, the couples wrapped up their honeymoons and made their way back home as they started living together.

As Ariela Carasso and Evandro Pintoo settled into their new home, the cast members checked their phones for the first time since they took part in the experiment. But something made Ariele want to know about the content of her partner's phone.

In a confessional, she said that she typically didn't check other people's phones but something Evandro said, made her want to know certain things.

Ariela revealed Evandro commented on people being on the show for different reasons and that some people had girlfriends or "hookups" outside. When she asked whether he also had someone, he told her he was hooking up with someone but didn't have a connection with her.

However, when the Love is Blind Brazil season 4 cast member went through his phone, he referred to the unnamed woman as "love" and "babe" which upset Ariela. The two got into an argument and Ariela noted she was unsure about their future together.

Ariela and Evandro's fight in Love is Blind Brazil season 4 episode 5 explored

In Love is Blind Brazil season 4 episode 5, Evandro and Ariela got into an argument over old text messages the latter found in her partner's phone. Although she told him he didn't need to show her anything he didn't want to, she wanted to know more about the woman he was involved with, before he took part in the Netflix dating experiment.

Evandro explained that he and Ariela had a conversation about the same during their honeymoon. He added that he was "really honest" with her. He showed his text messages to the Love is Blind Brazil cast member, emphasizing one where the woman in question was worried because of Evandro's lack of responses. Ariela said in a confessional:

"He only wanted to show the end, but I wanted to see the whole thing."

Evandro said they had already spoken about it so it was fine but Ariela disagreed. She added it was 'way more' than what she thought it was. Recalling the text messages while talking to the cameras, Ariela noted that one of the messages read that Evandro was going on the Netflix show and would call when "it's over."

The Love is Blind Brazil season 4's female cast member pointed out that Evandro and the woman were calling each other 'Love.' She alleged that they were in a relationship, while Evandro explained in a confessional:

"Those texts were from before the experiment. Nothing there means anything, because there were no feelings behind those words."

Ariela emphasized the pair calling each other 'love' and 'babe' as recently as the day the social experiment began. She told the cameras that a hook-up was one thing and that everyone had hookups. Further adding:

"But going to Love is Blind while being in a relationship? Hello? Hello?"

She asked her partner whether he thought it was "cool" and Evandro told her he understood how she felt. Ariela took note that he was calling another woman 'love' the same day he started filming Love is Blind Brazil season 4, meanwhile, the latter saw it differently.

He believed she should have seen the situation differently, that he had a hookup, but then he came on the show and fell in love with her. He explained to his partner that it was a friendship, but Ariela didn't believe him. She asked him why he came on the show if she had someone. She said:

"Evandro, I'm not a f**king idiot. Don't treat me like I'm an idiot, Evandro."

The Love is Blind Brazil season 4 cast member told Ariela she was bringing up something that was in the past, and reminded her that he hadn't spoken to her in 20 days. Ariela told him she would keep bringing it up if it bothered her. She asked:

"Be transparent. Are you just gonna, boop, just toss her away, like she's trash?"

He told her it had nothing to do with tossing someone away and Ariela said she wanted to know everything he ever said to her. She added she wanted to know how he treated women and wondered if he could treat Ariela the same way in the future.

The two continued to argue and Ariela asked Evandro to leave the house before her sister showed up. However, Evandro didn't and was the one to open the door. Ariela started crying instantly upon seeing her sister. Later, the three sat down and spoke about the situation together.
