Love is Blind: Brazil returned to Netflix with a brand new season on June 19, 2024. This season featured contestants who already have been in serious relationships previously. Individuals from all walks of life gathered together to give love another shot.

However, 34-year-old entrepreneur, Alexandre Thomaz, and 33-year-old lawyer, Renata Giaffredo's journey on Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 hit a rough patch soon after it started.

However, it was harder than it appeared since she had specific demands from her potential partner look-wise.

She interacted with three male cast members before Alexandre, but none left a significant impression on her. One of the suitors said he preferred "casual" outfits, earning Renata's disapproval. Renata mentioned:

"I like elegant guys, and I'm not really into guys who wear, like, pullovers or like, sweatpants or something."

While interacting with Alexandre, she discovered what people thought of her. She was known as the "preppy" one, but that did not bother Renata. During her time in the confessional, she revealed:

However, Renata imagined Alexandre to be a specific kind and stated she would not feel nice if he looked any other way. She said:

"I imagine Alexandre to have, like, a cool style, very laid back and casual, maybe with his hair brushed to one side, you know something like that."

Alexandre was ready to propose to Renata when the latter's comments affected the situation negatively. She was sure not to pursue her relationship with Alexandre if he did not look as she pictured him. She said:

"If you're like how I picture you, I'll, like, I'll love you so much."

She shared she never dated someone "chubby" and would struggle to bond with someone like that. Enraged by Renata's display of conditional love, Alexandre criticized her stark opinions.
