What happened on Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 6?

On Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 6 cast member Marilia Pinheiro opened up about her relationship with her father, who used to be a drug addict. She introduced him to her soon-to-be husband, Patrick Ribeiro.

Marilia's dad shared that he didn't fulfill his responsibilities and duties as a parent, but his daughter never "held that against him." Pinheiro told the cameras that her father now runs a rehab clinic and that his progress was magical.

With her father's willpower to change and be there for his family again, Marilia was able to find a newly formed connection with her father once again. She told the show producers her father's inspiring story and how he decided to change his life.

"I'm so glad he was just himself when we got here. It really broke the ice and set the mood. When I was a kid my father had a really severe drug problem. Like really hard crore drugs, he was living on the streets, living at a favela. But then he got better in a way that was really inspiring," Marilia said.

She further continued:

"We just couldn't believe it. I don't know if even he believed it. But now, he runs a rehab clinic, and everyone in the city knows and loves him."

Patrick felt like he fit in well with them. The Love is Blind: Brazil cast member was surprised to see how welcoming his soon-to-be wife's family was.

Ribeiro also met Marilia's grandmother, who was intrigued to know what kind of person he was. During her confessional interview, she shared that she didn't know the guy and hence wouldn't call him "amazing," but she did see that Patrick made her granddaughter happy.

Later in the episode, Pinheiro's family gave the engaged couple a piece of advice to enjoy the present rather than worry about the future.

"If I could make a suggestion? Get married now. Really, man, you two are something special. If it doesn't work out down the road? F*ck it then. No time like the present, there's no tomorrow."
