Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 has introduced viewers to new participants who wish to find love and tie the knot. Following the Love is Blind format, each contestant focuses on finding true love by building an emotional connection in the pods without seeing each other. Couples can only see one another after they get engaged.

One of the couples on the Brazil version of the Netflix series bonded with each other as they spoke about parenthood. Marcia Ishimoto and André Romano ended their previous relationships but are co-parenting their respective kids with their exes. Their conversation flowed smoothly, and André was surprised to find out that Marcia's son Anthony was autistic just like his daughter.

The two spoke about family, relationships, children, and autism during their time in the pods. Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 1, titled A Fresh Start on Love, was released exclusively on Netflix on June 19, 2024. The synopsis of the episode read:

"Singles seek new beginnings and authentic connections in the first days of the experiment, navigating personal beliefs, insecurities, and hot topics."

Marcia and André's connection on Love is Blind: Brazil season 4

34-year-old event promoter Marcia Ishimoto was introduced during Love is Blind: Brazil season 4 episode 1. She revealed that she has "bad luck" with love as her previous relationships did not work out. Marcia also shared that she got pregnant with someone she was "just hooking up with." Narrating the event, the 34-year-old got emotional as she said that her father stopped talking to her upon hearing the news.

However, he later became supportive of her and loves her son as much as she does.

"I have a five-year-old, his name is Anthony. And he's the love of my life. I don't have the best luck when it comes to love. I was engaged, it ended. I lived with someone, it ended. I had a son with someone who I was just hooking up with," she said.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Compliance Analyst, André Romano, also opened up about his life in the Love is Blind: Brazil pods. The cast member shed light on the difficult relationship he had with his father after the latter became a drug addict. André got emotional narrating an event that took place in 2022 when he lost his mom to pancreatic cancer and was diagnosed with depression. During this time, his relationship fell apart and he decided to end it.

In his confessional, André explained that he is looking for true love, and said:

"I've been single for three years now, and I think this time for me to find love. I think if I found someone special it would be great for not just me, but for my daughter. And it'd really help me be myself."

Wrapping up the conversation, the Love is Blind: Brazil cast members felt connected and Marcia admitted that she was falling in love with him. André was also interested in getting to know her more.
