Love is Blind: Germany episode 3 recap: Shella and Alberta get emotional over Pascal, while Tolga chooses between Shila and Hannah

Love is Blind: Germany became the newest edition to the franchise's extensive library, which boasted versions in Brazil, Japan, and Sweden, among others. Episode 3 of the first season aired on January 4, 2025, focusing on the participants who were having a hard time to choose their potential partners.

While Shella shared a connection with both Fabio and Pascal, both these men also had a strong bond with Alberta. This resulted in both the women feeling hurt. Alberta teared up after being mad at Shella for not thinking about her connection with Pascal before opening up to him.

Shella also cried because she didn't know how to tell Alberta about her connection with Fabio, Alberta's other match, when the latter was still upset about her bonding with Pascal. Shella eventually chose Pascal over Fabio and said "I do" when he proposed.

Elsewhere in the episode, Tolga found himself confused between Shila and Hannah but decided to go with Shila. Medina proposed to Sally, but after they met, the latter thought their meeting was awkward.

Shella and Alberta feud over their connection with the same man, on Love is Blind: Germany episode 3

After Shella returned from her date with Fabio, Alberta's other match, she was very happy because they talked about how close they felt to each other. When she returned to the women's lounge though, Alberta sought a confrontation about their triangle with Pascal.

When Shella said she hadn't been on a date like that during her Love is Blind: Germany journey yet, Alberta took offense and said that she was going to leave the experiment. She added:

"You lean a certain way and you have a feeling which way things are going. Now we're sitting here and you're telling me, I'd like Pascal to open up more, blah, blah, blah. I seriously can't take it, sorry."

Alberta further said that it just meant that Shella wasn't honest with her. In response, the latter stated that she took Alberta into consideration when she talked to Pascal. She then took to a confessional, where she got emotional over the fact that she couldn't tell her fellow cast member about how much she enjoyed her date with Fabio because that would offend her even more.

Shella then told Alberta that she felt really hurt when Pascal told her that he wanted to end things with Alberta. The latter also shed tears during a confessional, saying that she didn't know if he and Shella were a greater match, but she knew that he was a "great person". Later in the episode, a confused Shella made her decision, and went with Pascal instead of Fabio. He proposed and she said yes.

Tolga chooses Shila over Hannah on Love is Blind: Germany episode 3

Hannah told Tolga that she thought it was their best date so far and he agreed with the same. In a Love is Blind: Germany confessional, Hannah said that she felt at ease with him. When she went back to the women's lounge, she told Tolga's other match, Shila, about how well her date went.

To this, Shila mentioned that she wanted immediate clarity on who Tolga had on his mind. So, on her next date with him, she asked him who he was leaning towards because she couldn't take the fact that he was delving in deep with them both. Tolga said:

"Honestly this whole experiment hasn't been easy for me. I want to be sure for myself, and I want that for you and for my other connection too."

However, he replied that he had feelings for Shila. When they met up the next day, he proposed to her and she said yes.

Later in the Love is Blind: Germany episode, Medina also proposed to Sally but things didn't go as expected after they met for the first time. Sally teared up saying it was awkward for her. The episode ended on a cliffhanger here and the viewers were left wondering what happened to them next.
