After Love is Blind season 7 commenced earlier this month, Love is Blind Habibi, the Middle Eastern version of the coveted dating reality show by Netflix, made its way to the platform on October 10.
Episode 3 of the show saw the stars easing into their matches from the pods, and some of them even took leaps of faith and got engaged. Hoping for a better future, Khatab and Asma, Chafic and Dounia, and Nour and Mido said yes from behind the wall. The former two couples also saw each other for the first time in episode 3.
Among the chaos of decision and indecision, Simo found himself embroiled in drama multiple times. He first argued with Yasmin about her dating other men from the pods, then clashed with Hajar for her views on intimacy. He also had a tiff with Chafic for calling his match's perfume "stupid."

The couples who got engaged on Love is Blind Habibi episode 3
The episode opened with Khatab and Asma standing behind closed doors, impatiently waiting for them to open. When they opened and walked towards each other, Asma was shaking as Khatab tried calming her. He said she was exactly like he pictured her, although taller than he expected.
He left his handkerchief with his new fiancé before leaving. Asma, who didn't speak much when she saw her future husband, took to a Love is Blind Habibi confessional to say she wasn't so sure of him.
Chafic was having a great time chatting with Hajar, Nour, and Dounia. Nour even gifted him a book spritzed with her perfume. She also sent him a note with the quote, "The favorite in your heart will be the most beautiful in your eyes." Chafic said the quote was on his mom's Instagram. Nour got emotional when she told him about her sister, who cared as much about the people in need as she did.
Hajar was impressed by the fact that Chafic was okay with taking care of his wife financially and that he had an arm full of tattoos. When with Dounia, Chafic told her she felt more special to him than the other girls. Then, when they were back in the common areas, Chafic screamed, "Dounia, I love you," which was also heard in the girls' common area.
This made Hajar call him a cheater in the pods, which he denied because he believed he owned up to his love for Dounia. He then respectfully rejected her and Nour and proposed to Dounia. When he first met her, he asked her to close her eyes and wait on the sofa. He said he would change his clothes and come back, but he surprised her by going on one knee with a ring in his hands before asking her to open her eyes.
After Chafic rejected Nour, she forged a connection with Mido, who was feeling down because Asma rejected him for Khatab. They spoke deeply about their feelings of rejection and bonded over them. By the end of the episode, Mido proposed to Nour, and she said yes.
Troubles with Simo on Love is Blind Habibi episode 3
Simo first came into the picture in Love is Blind Habibi episode 3 when Nour gifted Chafic a book. Chafic brought the book back to the general room, where Simo inspected it and smelt the perfume Nour had spritzed on it. He said the perfume wasn't so good and found it "stupid." This ticked Chafic off, who said one's perfume choice didn't determine their character.
Then, on a date with Yasmin, Simo asked if she was seeing other men in the pods. When she said yes, Simo complained of not feeling special with her when she saw other men. This made Yasmin walk out of her pod and then go on to a Love is Blind confessional, where she teared up and said that Simo was "toxic" and that what he said made her lose her temper.
On his date with Hajar, Simo asked her the things she was willing to do in Miami. She said she would like to have a bit of cake before she went on a diet, which pointed to her views on intimacy. Simo said his views were the opposite, calling her stance "low level." This ticked her off, and she said she would talk to him the day after when she had a cool head.
