What happened on Love is Blind Habibi episode 8?
One of the main highlights of Love is Blind Habibi episode 8 was Dounia and Chafic's dinner table conversation. Dounia got emotional when Chafic confessed she was a blessing sent by God in his life. During her confessional interview, a teary-eyed Dounia shared she was fully trusting Chafic and hoped he wouldn't break her heart in the future. She said:
"At this moment, I'm feeling so positive, positive, positive. I mean we are closer and stronger and Chafic and I together, we form a big heart."
The two love birds discussed the importance of family and mutual respect for each other and their parents. Dounia shared that she promised she would show loyalty, respect, and love in their relationship which builds the foundation of a marriage. The Love is Blind Habibi contestant told Chafic:
"All the negative moments that we went through brought us closer. The most important parts in this relationship are right now. These moments, the beginning, we're building it right now. This is the foundation that will stay with us years later."
Later in the episode, Dounia confessed that she was "battling her feelings" to trust Chafic as she was unsure if he would betray her at the wedding altar and back out at the last moment. The Love is Blind Habibi cast member told the cameras during her confessional interview that she wouldn't see Chafic again if he broke her trust. Dounia said:
"I'm battling my feelings. I'm battling myself and trying as much as I can to trust Chafic and his feelings towards me. If he betrays me, my trust, he'll never see my face again. I'm like the wind, like that, I blow in, hits hard and move on."
Meanwhile, Mohammad took Safa on a date on a yacht and the couple talked about their future and having genuine feelings towards each other. Khatab also invited Asma for a dinner date to confess his feelings, and they further talked about the situation with Asma's parents.
Later on in Love is Blind Habibi episode 8, the brides were invited to a henna party in the desert and the grooms had their own bachelor party. The episode concluded with Khatab and Asma standing at the altar. However, her parents were seemingly not present there.
