Love is Blind: Habibi reunion premiered on November 1 on Netflix, welcoming back all the contestants who got engaged after forming a bond inside the pods.
The couples and former couples discussed their relationships as shown on the reality show and shared updates on what they have been up to since filming wrapped.
Mohammed and Safa reflected on their relationship from the show and confirmed that they were still together. Meanwhile, during the reunion episode, Nour clashed with Chafic, Dounia, and Mido, sharing some critical opinions about them.
The synopsis for the reunion episode reads:
"Sparks fly as celebrity couple Khaled Saqer and Elham Ali revisit key moments in a reunion packed with intense drama — and a surprise couple revelation."
3 memorable moments from Love is Blind: Habibi reunion
1) Choosing Nour was Mido's second biggest mistake on the show
In the Love is Blind: Habibi reunion episode, Mido reflected on two mistakes he made during the show. First, he admitted that he did not give Asma, his potential match in the pods, a chance to fully explain her perspective. His second mistake, he added ironically, was “giving Nour a chance.” He explained:
"When you see someone who only talks about material things, and tables full of food and such. Why? She's beautiful. No doubt. Why do you make yourself a product? Why do you belittle yourself in public and say, 'I like to see a full table, and when the bill comes, I do this' Why"
Nour responded by stating that she is a woman with high standards. Having been cared for and spoiled by her family, the Love is Blind: Habibi contestant expected the same level of care and attention from her partner.
"I grew up in a family that spoiled me and met all my demands. I never had to pay for anything or work to buy anything my entire life. A girl simply asks to be spoiled by her husband as she was spoiled by her parents. This is the minimum requirement," she added.
2) Safa and Mohammed are still together
Love is Blind: Habibi reunion revealed that Mohammed and Safa were still together after marrying on the show. The couple managed to work through Safa's traveling issue and shared that they were hopeful for their future together.
"I won't stand in the way of anything she wants to do. I won't hide that it sometimes annoyed me, but I feel good whenever she returns. And I feel like it's a first date again. That's how I feel. That's the positive side to it," Mohammed commented on the traveling issue.
Right after their wedding, Safa had to travel for work, leaving the Love is Blind: Habibi couple uncertain about their honeymoon plans. Mohammed playfully chimed in, sharing that they found a way to "travel the world" by visiting The Global Village.
Safa added that although they couldn’t go on a honeymoon right away, they made up for it later by "traveling a lot together."
When asked by Host Elham Ali, Safa expressed that she was excited to experience motherhood and shared that she was thinking about having twins.
3) Nour has some advice for Mido and Dounia
Throughout the reunion episode, Chafic, Dounia, and Mido were often critical of Nour. In response to the tension, Nour offered advice to both Mido and Dounia, suggesting they focus on building their self-confidence.
Dounia refused to accept her advice, but Nour elaborated on the importance of self-confidence, explaining:
"If she [Dounia] lacks self-confidence and is jealous of Nour on the show, she will meet thousands of girls like Nour in real life. Instead of fighting these girls, and feeling insecure, she should build her confidence in herself and her partner because otherwise, she will be fighting the wrong battle."
