Love is Blind: Habibi, a spinoff series from the hit Netflix reality TV show, depicted the journey of contestants finding love through a social experiment. In Love is Blind: Habibi reunion episode 10, one of the surprising moments was when Khatab and Asma revealed they weren't together anymore. Khatab told the show hosts Khaled Saqer and Elham Ali that his work schedule was tough which was why he couldn't give much time to Asma.
Khatab elaborated that the two stayed together for over a month after Asma said no at the wedding ceremony. The Love is Blind: Habibi star shared that Asma had her own career and at first "it was great" but then the day-to-day struggles in the everyday routine emerged. The 32-year-old architect and music producer shared his routine stating:
"What happened is that my job is very demanding. I told Asma from day one, and she can even review the episode. I explained to her that I want a woman who an harmonise with my lifestyle. I work from 6:00 am to 3:00 am the following day. I sleep for two hours or an hour and a half each day."
Then, Asma chimed in on the conversation revealing that she and Khatab were still on good terms. After their relationship ended, the two contestants decided to stay friends. Due to their lifestyles clashing, Khatab and Asma ended their connection outside of the show mutually. Asma shared that she was glad to meet Khatab during this social experiment, as she mentioned:
"I'm glad to have met you and happy that we went through the experiment with each other and we came out and made a mutual decision to be friends. We are still friends to this day. We are still in touch."
In the Love is Blind: Habibi reunion episode, Nour got into an argument with Mido. Another one of the highlights in this episode was when Mido admitted to making a "mistake by" choosing Nour, he said:
"I just want to recall that after I left the program, she said about me, 'Mido is not a man, I'm not babysitting him.' That shows morals and ethics. I'm brave enough to admit that I mistake by choosing her."
Nour confronted Mido and responded to him by saying that she had standards, implying he didn't reach them. She continued explaining that having "specific expectations" from her partner wasn't wrong and that Mido had to work on his "lack of self-confidence."
Chafic and Dounia also got into a disagreement with Nour in the episode.
