What happened in Love Is Blind: Mexico episode 2?
Following the events of episode 1 of Love Is Blind: Mexico, Fernanda and Gerardo got to see each other physically for the very first time.
They felt equally elated and relieved after meeting each other and praised each other's appearances as a dream come true. Afterward, Gerardo proposed to Fernanda, which she agreed and wore the ring on her finger.
Gerardo shared his delight at the events and praised his compatibility with Fernanda.
"She's not the woman I dreamt of. She's like, six steps higher, or twenty. Life is like a jigsaw puzzle and being there felt like I was putting in the final piece," said Gerardo.
Rocio and Irais' conflict came to a head when they confronted each other in the last episode regarding Fernando, who felt having conversations with other participants would help sort out everyone's feelings. He talked to Karen and instantly hit it off with her in terms of the involvment of their life partner.
Karen, a financial advisor by trade, shared concerns regarding having an 11-year-old daughter but assured Fernando that she doesn't need a father for her on Love Is Blind: Mexico. She connected with another participant, Saul, regarding this, as he has a 14-year-old daughter.
"Saul is everything I wanted. He gives me a sense of security and stability. I like the idea of being with him," stated Karen.
Fernando and Karen shared a heartfelt moment when they shared their story of domestic abuse with each other. Karen shared her story about her ex-boyfriend abusing her physically, while Fernando shared the same regarding his father being violent with him.
Karen and Saul's connection came to a halt after Karen brought up the topic of intimacy and the involvement of other people with her future partner, as Saul felt uncomfortable with the topic. Saul later started connecting with Leti who had trouble connecting with anyone because of her ADHD.
"My ADHD has made relationships difficult. We jump around in conversations from topic to topic, and it's very hard for us to explain ourselves and make plans," stated Leti.
Chema, another male participant, had interest from two female participants. Silvia and Alejandra both made it clear that they felt a strong connection with Chema. They all shared a common ground as all three had lost their fathers after battles with cancer.
Chema was also frank about his interest in both women and made it clear that he was figuring out whom to pick in Love Is Blind: Mexico. Alejandra, an opera singer shared a heartfelt moment with Chema when she talked about her journey and love of music.
Things took a wild turn when Alejandra shared she wanted to pursue a Master's degree in Italy. Chema made his feelings clear regarding the issue, as he didn't want a long distance relationship because of prior experience.
Alejandra seemingly redeemed herself after she made a painting and musical notation for Chemata's daughter. She wanted Chemata's daughter to have it even if they didn't end up together, which endeared Cheamta.
Karen took a big step in Love Is Blind: Mexico, as she gave a handwritten letter to Fernando confessing her feelings and her desire to travel to Costa Rica with him, which left Irais heartbroken. Meanwhile, Saul did the same for Leti and expressed his desire to marry her.
Both Fernando and Leti said yes to their respective potential partners and expressed their love for each other. Later, when Saul and Leti met each other for the first time in Love Is Blind: Mexico, they couldn't keep their hands off each other and expressed their desire to see each other in a few days.
Irais, meanwhile, took one last chance with Fernando but didn't reciprocate her advances and expressed that Rene was a good guy for her. Before the episode ended, Fernando saw Karen for the first time and proposed again by getting down on one knee.
