What happened on Love is Blind: Mexico episode 7?
The seventh episode of Love is Blind: Mexico starts with Willy and Francesca having lunch with the latter’s friends, Paul and Victoria. They all enjoyed their time together and talked about Francesca’s daughter and more. However, Willy seemed nervous when Paul asked him about getting married.
Later that night, at home, Willy told Francesca that he felt "panicked" when he learned about their wedding date. Francesca asked him:
"So, then, what was your initial plan when you started the experiment?"
His answer was to get to know someone and get married "with someone," which Francesca emphasized as "someone" and didn't like. Willy then confessed that he couldn’t deal with all of the emotions he was feeling.
Just then, Fernanda and Gerardo showed up at their residence, and they all talked about how Willy was feeling. Willy shared with everyone that Gerardo helped him through the situation.
However, Willy later revealed to Gerardo and Fernanda that he has "gotten off the boat" and that "this isn’t for me." Hearing this, Francesca is quite emotional and cries while Fernanda comforts her and requests that Willy give it a try and see how things go, to which Willy agrees.
The next day, Francesca and Willy visited his two sisters, who later had a video call with their parents. He introduced Francesca to them, and they interacted with each other.
Francesca also revealed that she has an 11-year-old daughter. Willy’s parents and sisters all loved Francesca. His father also told Willy that they would like to know more about her.
Fernando and Karen meet her family on Love is Blind: Mexico
Fernando and Karen went to the latter’s family, and he confessed that it was "super important" for him to meet Karen’s family, including Karen’s mother and daughter, Emi.
Karen’s mother asked Fernando whether he had any kids. When he said no, she asked if the duo were thinking of having kids, to which he said that they were not in a rush.
Irais and Rene’s meeting with his parents
Irais and Rene went to meet the latter’s parents and sisters. Rene's father wasn’t aware that Rene had participated in Love is Blind: Mexico and how it works, so Rene explained it. They also talked about Rene’s "love of alcohol," about which Irais was concerned.
However, his family shared that he was a well-behaved person after having drinks and not "an alcoholic." Both of his sisters thought that they were taking "things too fast."
Rene then revealed the wedding date to his family, December 6. His mother and sisters were shocked and shared that “it’s too soon.” In the end, his family told him that they would support Rene for whatever decision he would make. His mother shared in the confession:
"If my husband or daughters can’t go, I’ll try to be there."
She also told Irais that, as a mom, she’ll never turn her back on Irais because she’s also a woman.
Gerardo and Fernanda in Love is Blind: Mexico episode 7
The next morning, Gerardo didn’t want to get up, but when Fernanda asked, he got up, and they worked out together. Later in the day, they went rock climbing and invited Francesca and Willy. Later, they went for brunch, and Fernanda shared that it was not about reaching the top but enjoying the moments.
"Each step is its own accomplishment." Fernanda shared.
Francesca agreed and said, like in the experiment, Gerardo confirmed whether they were talking about Willy, and they all laughed. Later that day, Gerardo and Fernanda met the latter’s mother and brother. Before their arrival, her mother told her brother, Fernanda was coming with her “fiance”, which surprised him.
They started the conversation about Fernanda’s father, which was not finished. Then Fernanda shared that she and Gerardo have different opinions about dogs, as she is close to her dog, Argos.
In the confession, she shared that if her dog can’t be inside, she can’t continue the relationship and that it’s non-negotiable. However, Gerardo was ready to work something out over time. Both Fernanda’s mother and brother liked Gerardo and shared their thoughts about it.
Silvia and Chema meet his friend Rafael
Silvia and Chema met the latter’s "best buddy," Rafa, from poker with whom he was close. Rafa told them that they would have beautiful kids. Chema and Rafa didn’t know that Silvia had invited one of her closest friends Angie, who joined them at Rafa’s residence.
They all had a good time as they talked about various things. Rafa confessed that knowing Chema, he wouldn’t make such a big decision in such a short time.
Next day on Love is Blind: Mexico episode 7
Chema took Silvia to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Some of the other couples, including Fernando, Karen, Rene, Irais, Francesca, Willy, and Gerardo, joined them and surprised Silvia for her birthday. Gerardo came with the guitar, and they all sang a birthday song. Fernanda didn’t want to come, so Gerardo came alone, which everyone noticed.
Fernando told Gerardo that even if Fernanda didn’t like "some people," she could still come and hang with them. Later, some other members from Love is Blind: Mexico also joined them, including Leti and Saul, who connected off-camera and have been together ever since.
The episode ended with Mafer’s entry, who also connected with Gerardo during the initial stages of Love is Blind: Mexico. Seeing her, Gerardo’s reaction was, "Oh, f**k me."
