Netflix released Love is Blind: Mexico episode 8 on August 8, 2024. The eighth episode, Cold Feet, featured engaged couples spending more time together and learning more about each other. Fernanda got a surprise visit from her future-in-laws.
Francesca went to her fiance Willy’s home and met his friends. The eighth episode of Love is Blind: Mexico also saw both male and female participants choose and try out their wedding outfits.
Fernando spent more time with his fiance Karen’s daughter and saw a different side of Karen as a mother. Love is Blind: Mexico episode 8 ended on a cliffhanger, as Fernando received a call from his ex, and Karen was worried about it.

What happened on Love is Blind: Mexico episode 8: Details explored
The eighth episode of Love is Blind: Mexico picked up right where the previous episode ended, with Mafer’s entry. Seeing her, Gerardo was surprised because his fiance, Fernanda, wasn’t at the reunion when Mafer came.
"I mean, Fernanda chooses not to be here, and then what do you know?" shared Gerardo in confession.
Mafer confessed that she was “most nervous” about meeting Gerardo.
"I didn’t expect anything to happen with him, it was more like, “Look what you missed. Redhead, 5’9, super cool." Mafer added.
Gerardo then told Francesca that he was texting Fernanda. Francesca told him, "She’s a snake in the grass," referring to Mafer. Later, when everyone was gathered around the table, they started discussing how Mafer had written a song for Gerardo and insisted on her singing it.
Mafer then sang the song she had written for Gerardo. Later that night, Gerardo had a private conversation with Mafer as he wanted to:
"Talk to her so that we can leave what happened in the pods behind us."
Mafer told Gerardo that she was “really excited” about him and that she doesn’t normally fall for people “that hard.” Gerardo replied that it was nice meeting her.
Fernanda, who decided to stay home, shared in the confessional that she needed to take time for herself. When Gerardo returned home, she asked how Mafer was. Gerardo told Fernanda that she could have come, but she said she wasn’t feeling good.
7 days to go until the wedding: Love is Blind: Mexico
Gerardo and Fernanda went to the park where the latter grew up. While she thought they were going for a picnic, Gerardo had planned a surprise for his fiance. He called his family, including his mother and siblings, to meet Fernanda. Soon, they arrived, and they met Gerardo and his “fiance.”
Gerardo’s mother, Marisela Guajardo, shared with Fernanda:
"I’m just thrilled. To think that you may be the love of my boy’s life."
Marisela later confessed that she was very close to Gerardo and had a private chat with Fernanda, during which she asked Fernanda how she "honestly" felt about Gerardo. Fernanda shared that she was excited and happy and also added that even though things were happening quite quickly, she could see the potential they had to build something together.
Gerardo’s mother, Marisela, then told Fernanda that for her, she and Gigi, Gerardo's sister, would always come before Gerardo and his brother Gus, which got happy tears in Fernanda’s eyes. They all had an amazing time together.
Rene and Irais went to a dance class during Love is Blind: Mexico episode 8 and practiced for their first dance together as a man and wife. After the dance lessons, she asked whether Rene’s family would attend their wedding. He shared that his father won’t be coming, but his sister is applying for leave because she wants to attend the wedding, and his mother will also try to come.

Francesca confessed that she was happy to learn more about Willy’s life and that she thought things would keep getting better.
Karen’s daughter came to their apartment to spend some time with her and Fernando, and she got bracelets for them both. They enjoyed pizza, played some games, and had a great time together. Fernando confessed that it felt like they would be a great family.
Silvia and Chema went to meet the latter’s family. Silvia met his mother, Elsa Pedrazzi, and brother, Andres. Elsa thought that Silvia should have “a more serious profession.”
Wedding preparations: Love is Blind: Mexico
While all the male participants went to try out suits, the female participants went to shop for their wedding dresses. Love is Blind: Mexico co-host Lucy joined the female participants while Omar went to see the male participants.
Karen came with her mother Lucila Rodriguez, Fernanda had her mother Maritrini with her, Francesca with her mother Diana Hinojosa, Silvia’s mother Silvia Huerta came to support her, and Irais was accompanied by her mother Maria Elena Carrillo.
For male participants: Fernando’s brother Diego Bahena came with him, Gerardo was accompanied by his brother Gustavo Zapiain, Willy’s cousin Fernando Garcia joined him from Mexico City, Chema’s cousin Juan Jose Gutierrez came to support him, and Rene’s friend/ therapist Ivan came to support him.
The eighth episode of the dating show ended with Fernando receiving a call from his ex, which he thought might be an emergency. Karen was worried that he might get back together with his ex since they ended things on good terms. She asked him whether he was getting back with his ex, and the episode ended before Fernando’s answer.
The next batch of Love is Blind: Mexico episodes, including episodes 9 and 10, will be released on Netflix on August 15, followed by the finale release on August 18, 2024.
