Love Is Blind Mexico aired its final two episodes (9-10) on August 15, 2024, which saw the final couples going through trials and tribulations of living together as a couple. The show follows the same concept as 30 individuals entered the pods in hopes of finding their life partner and giving love a second chance.
Episodes 9-10 of Love Is Blind Mexico focused on the remaining couple's journey and the various ups and downs they faced. The fans of the reality show were treated to numerous moments that will be highlighted in the show's history.
The final couples that went into the last two episodes were - Rene and Irais, Willy and Francesca, Karen and Fernando, Gerardo and Fernanda and Chema and Silvia.

5 major highlights from episodes 9-10 of Love Is Blind Mexico
1) Fernanda and Gerado call it quits before the finale
Although they were one of the first couples to get engaged in Love Is Blind Mexico, things didn't turn out the way they had planned it initially. The chemistry that they shared was obvious and until the honeymoon phase, they were considered "most likely to get married" by Willy.
The conflicts between the couple soon arose, and Fernanada even blamed Gerado for the lack of physical intimacy between the two. Gerardo suspected that Fernanda was still not over her past traumas, and that could affect their relationship in the future. During the bachelor party, he even shared the thought with other cast members which complicated the issue even further.
The couple eventually decided to move on and got their closure when the production team decided to reunite them.
"That wholesome love we felt for each other became incompatible. That's what happened," expressed Gerardo.
2) Francesca kicks Willy out of the apartment
Fans of Love Is Blind Mexico saw the trials and tribulations that Francesca and Willy went through with each other. After connecting in the pods, they decided to take the next step in their relationship and they moved into a single apartment together.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Francesca revealed that Willy started having major doubts when they moved in and that prompted her to not involve her 11-year-old daughter, Mila, in the relationship.
The couple had a major fight in episode 9, when Willy told Francesca that he was nervous and didn't think getting married would be a good idea. Francesca was flabbergasted and after arguing with Willy, she called him a "coward" and pointed towards the door asking him to get out of the apartment.
"You're full of sh*t. That's what you are! You have no balls! Get out!"
The couple eventually mended their relationship but at the altar, they both decided to call it quits once and for all.
3) Rene reveals his father's disapproval of the wedding
One of the couples on Love Is Blind Mexico was Rene and Irais who started their journey with a rough patch. Irais fell for Fernando who didn't reciprocate her feelings as he had already proposed to Karen. After a tearful goodbye, Irais finally gave in to Rene's charm, and although they didn't travel to Tulum with other couples, they did exchange rings.
After a while, Rene took Irais to his home to meet his family members. All the family members showed concerns regarding their marriage and failed to understand the show's experiment. Rene later revealed to Irais just before the finale that his father didn't intend to attend their wedding, but reassured Irais that his other family members were going to attend.
"I'd love him to be there. But I don't know what will happen... I don't what will happen. My sister said yes. She's super on board with this," stated Rene.
During the ceremony at the altar, Rene eventually felt unprepared due to all the pressure from his family and decided not to get married to Irais.
4) Silvia and Alejandra clash over the topic of Chema
All the cast members were reunited during episode 9 of the show as they celebrated the upcoming wedding of the couples, including Chema and Silvia. In the earlier episodes of Love Is Blind Mexico, Silvia and Chema came out of the pods as a couple but during that time, Chema also connected with Alejandra.
Later, when Alejandra showed up at the bachelor party reunion, she took Chema aside to get some closure. They both thanked each other for their time on the show and were grateful to have met each other. Siliva was visibly irked by this development and was unwilling to talk with Alejandra.
"I think I need to talk to Silvi. It didn't go as expected. I was a little uncomfortable," noted Alejandra.
Silvi and Alejandra did talk it out and Alejandra revealed that girls always come first for her and they will not fight because of a man.
5) Only one out of four couples said "I do"
By the time of the finale episode of Love Is Blind Mexico, out of the five couples that flew to the honeymoon phase, only four were left as Fernanda and Gerardo decided to break up. The rest of the couples dressed up and walked up to the altar but other than Fernando and Karen, no one said the magical words, "I do".
Fernando even claimed that he wasn't able to sleep and was rolling around the bed all night because of the anticipation of the magical day. Karen also shared her concerns and thought Fernando might refuse to go ahead with their plans.
Unlike the other couples, they did get married and were grateful for each other during their journey in the show. In his speech, Fernando claimed to have fallen in love with "all" of her.
The finale of Love Is Blind Mexico aired on August 15, 2024, and the entire season can be streamed on Netflix.
