Love Is Blind Mexico, a spin-off of Love Is Blind, premiered on Netflix on Thursday, August 1, 2024. The show comes up with a social experiment, where couples are in a venture to find true love, but only by talking via pods. So far the show has released four episodes, and five couples have engaged to explore more about each other, with Willy and Francesca being one of those couples.
In episode 3 of Love Is Blind Mexico, Willy and Francesca met for the first time via pod. Willy shared his skepticism towards the social experiment while Francesca was open to it and believed in it. Willy asked Francesca:
" Hey, are you skeptical of the experiment or not?"
Francesca replied with a 'No', and seemed curious to know his reason for being skeptical, to which he replied:
"I am shocked that there are people who are all in, you know. It is just that I find it really difficult to fall in love."
Francesca and Willy's happily ever after in Love Is Blind Mexico
Francesca and Willy started on a positive note in Love Is Blind Mexico, by discussing their perspective towards the social experiment they are part of. Willy, being a little hesitant, expressed his reasons to Francesca as mentioned. Francesca wanted to know more about Willy as she said before entering the pod.
Willy, in a confessional of episode 3 of Love Is Blind Mexico, said:
"There is still so much more to discover about each other. It just seems like there is not enough time to take it all in and process everything."
Willy appeared confident and full of clarity to Francesca. He expressed that he is surprised by the effect of all this happening and also gives credit to Francesca for being an integral part of it. Francesca validated his feelings by admitting that she is equally drawn towards him.
In a confessional, she expressed:
"I know he is not just sweet-talking. I know it is real, but of course, the fear is there because I am vulnerable, and it has happened before."
Francesca took the opportunity to convey her vulnerabilities to Willy to know whether they were on the same page or if she was imagining everything in her head. She goes ahead and poses a question to Willy about her daughter Mila, and the situation they are in. She asked:
"I just want to know what you have to say in regard to Mila, and how you would integrate her into your life. Also, how are you so calm about everything that is happening between us? Are you really okay with accepting my daughter?"
Willy graciously replied that he would love to have Mila in his life, to which Francesca happily replied, ' You both will love each other.' Francesca appreciated the calm with which Willy carried himself while replying to that question.
Here comes the proposal: Episode 3 Love Is Blind Mexico
During episode 3 of Love Is Blind Mexico, Francesca seemed confident about Willy, especially knowing how fondly he feels about Mila, she expressed that she had to take the plunge and find out whether love is blind or not, she would Choose Willy. She said to him:
"I don't know where you stand but I definitely feel very certain that if I am going to test out if love is blind by going on this romantic holiday, and give marriage a go, I know I want to do it all with you."
Willy appreciated her clarity, confidence, and authenticity, the three qualities he would like to have in his partner. Francesca posed the most integral question to Willy, "Would he like to be her boyfriend?", and Willy happily said, 'Yes'.
The final meeting in the pod happened, and both presented each other with something they held dear. Willy finally proposed to her, "Will you marry me?", and the answer came, 'Yes'.
