Love Is Blind has become one of the most popular reality TV shows on Netflix, and the streaming platform is set to premiere its Mexico edition on August 1, 2024, worldwide. The show will be hosted by the husband-wife duo, Omar Chaparro and Lucy Chaparro.
Love Is Blind has extended to various countries, with various iterations airing in Brazil, Japan, and Sweden. The UK version will also be releasing on August 7, 2024.
The Mexican edition will bring back the familiar concept of finding true love and relationships with contestants who will not be allowed to see each other. Omar Chaparro is a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, boasting a diverse career as an actor, comedian, singer, and television host. Born on November 26, 1974, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Chaparro is renowned for acting and also has a succesful career in singing and comedy.
His career began in the late 1990s when he gained fame through various comedy shows and radio programs. As an accomplished TV Actor, he joined Big Brother VIP 2 in 2003 and continued there for 64 days.
