Netflix is set to premiere Love is Blind Mexico on Thursday, August 1, 2024. It marks the debut season of the dating reality show. As fans might already know, Chris Coelen and Kinetic Content created the Love Is Blind franchise.
It is described as a social experiment in which single individuals, both men and women, enter the show looking for a potential romantic connection. Moreover, the interesting factor is that they get engaged even before meeting each other in person. The individuals talk during various sessions from different “pods” with potential suitors.
Netflix describes the show as:
"These singles have to put a ring on it…without ever seeing one another. The Emmy-nominated experiment that ponders if love is blind arrives in Mexico."

Love is Blind Mexico: Show's format, contestants, and more
Love is Blind Mexico features individuals who talk with various fellow participants from different pods, where they can only listen to each other. Upon finding a suitable match, they agree to get engaged without seeing each other. Later, they are given four weeks to get to know the other person better and determine whether they are compatible or not.
The format contains various tasks and activities to help the participants learn more about their personalities, choices, families, and more. After spending four weeks together, they have to make the ultimate decision - whether to get married or not. The participants' list has not been disclosed yet. Fans will get to know more about it once the show premieres.
Moreover, the contestants are required to communicate in their native language, that is, Spanish, throughout the show. Similar to the original format of the reality show, the Mexican version will also feature 30 individuals and consist of 10 episodes.
