Love is Blind: Mexico star Alejandra broke into tears, remembering her late father
During their date in episode 2, Chema and Alejandra grew closer to each other when the latter shared details about the beginning of her musical career and the role her father played in it.
She stated she started taking singing lessons "a couple of months" before her father's death. The cast member revealed she engaged with it "just for fun" and did not want to pursue it seriously. However, one thing led to another, and Alejandra never stopped it. She credited her father for motivating her to continue.
"One time, he actually came to one of my singing lessons, and when I feel like packing it all in, I remember that moment. It really motivates me, and I feel like if he could see all the progress I've made, he'd be really proud of me," said Alejandra.
Alejandra broke down, remembering her father. Upon hearing her quivering voice, Chema attempted to console her by saying that her father was "definitely watching over" her. The Love is Blind: Mexico cast member was touched by Chema's kind gesture and noted that she felt the most connected to him.
Chema then asked Alejandra to narrate how her "love for music" started. She said the first time she sang in front of a group of people was at her aunt's wedding. It was then that she realized she had a nice voice.
"It's always a bonus. Imagine getting up in the mornings and instead of hearing a shout, you hear a beautiful melody. It's a winner," said Chema.
Alejandra confessed she felt connected to Chema, and the latter echoed her emotions. In another one of their dates, the Love is Blind: Mexico star revealed she wanted to do a Master's degree in Italy, hoping Chema would consider a long-distance relationship with her.
However, Chema seemed determined not to pursue a long-distance relationship. He decided to end things with Alejandra on their next date.
"There is no way I can do a long-distance relationship. I did it once before, and it wasn't the greatest," confessed Chema.
Attempting to salvage her relationship, Alejandra gifted Chema a painting and two lullabies for his daughter, Anto. She even told him she was ready to change her plans if that would make him reconsider his decision. However, the Love is Blind: Mexico star seemed unsure if he wanted to step in the way of her dreams.
Despite that, Alejandra continued to fancy Chema. By the end of episode 2, Chema found himself in a dilemma. However, in episode 3, he ended his relationship with her to pursue Silvia.
