Love is Blind season 7 premiered on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. It saw hopeful singles entering the pods to find their ideal partner. While some cast members sparked instant connections, others struggled to solidify their bonds when faced with competition from other suitors.
Nonetheless, each embarked on a soulful journey to find their perfect match, hoping to leave the experiment as engaged individuals. In episode 2, Hannah wondered if she made the right decision by breaking up with Nick D. On the contrary, Leo admitted he was torn between Hannah and Brittany. Garrett and Taylor got engaged, while Tyler professed his love to Ashley A.
Bohdan and Ramses connected with Marissa. Meanwhile, Stephen and Monica discussed deep issues like politics and cheating.

What happened in Love is Blind season 7 episode 2?
At the start of episode 2, 36-year-old tech sales representative Monica revealed she had a "typical type" regarding men. She often judged them based on their looks. As a result, she participated in Love is Blind, to find an ideal partner without being influenced by outside factors.
Her first interaction in episode 2 was with electrician Stephen. Stephen admitted he held the title of being a cheater. He divulged that he slid into someone else's DMs and emotionally cheated on his then-partner. Monica appreciated his honesty and applauded him for feeling remorseful.
Meanwhile, Brittany and Leo contemplated the future of their connection. While Brittany confessed he was her number-one choice, Leo admitted he was torn between her and Hannah. Brittany got emotional after learning that she was not his only priority.
In another scene, Hannah interacted with Nick D., wondering if she made the right choice by severing ties with him. Nick D. was disappointed to discover that other cast members influenced her decision. Although the doubts remained, the Love is Blind cast member admitted she wanted to continue talking to Nick D. However, she also continued bonding with her "twin flame," Leo.
Garrett and Taylor deepened their connection during one of their dates. Taylor gifted Garrett an avocado tree to symbolize her timeline for having children, while Garrett gifted Taylor his father's homemade, world-famous honey. They confessed they could see each other as their life partners.
Although Garrett feared that Taylor might not be impressed by his appearance, he was willing to take the risk, unable to imagine losing her to someone else. In another pod, 35-year-old Bohdan interacted with Marissa. While speaking to the cameras, he stated that he was born in Ukraine and moved to America at a young age. His Filipino father raised him after his biological father passed away.
He added that he was often misjudged due to his appearance. He said:
"I look like a white bread kid. So they just think, like, just probably some frat boy who got a job because his parents did something and had connections."
The Love is Blind cast member was emotional, describing his experience in the Marine Corps and how he participated in the recent war that broke out in Ukraine. Marissa appreciated his integrity and zeal. However, she had also developed a connection with Ramses. During one of their dates, Ramses opened up about his previous marriage.
The Love is Blind star confessed he was married to his high school sweetheart for four and a half years. They connected because they shared similar religious ideologies but as he moved away from Christianity, their incompatibility became evident to Ramses. Marissa was also impressed to hear him talk about "toxic masculinity."
Meanwhile, Garrett sent a bouquet of sunflowers to Taylor, with a note that asked her to be his girlfriend. pleasantly surprised by the gesture, Taylor replied with a 'yes.' In another episode segment, Tim and Alex strengthened their connection. Tim revealed he grew up learning music but eventually joined the Navy to get more exposure. The Love is Blind duo went on to discuss religion and family dynamics.
Alex teared up when Tim narrated how he lost his elder sister to Lupus. Despite the difficult conversation, Tim admitted he had only fond memories of them.
"Just a beautiful childhood. It really was. And I wouldn't trade it for the world," he said.
On one of the dates, Taylor gifted Garrett a box of her grandparents' love letters. She read from one of the letters to confess her feelings to Garrett. It was then that Garrett recognized she was the one for him. He reciprocated her feelings and went down on one knee to propose to her. Taylor gleefully agreed to be his wife.
"Oh my God, I'm shaking. I can't even get up right now," Garrett said.
Later, Stephen and Monica discussed presidential elections and who they voted for. During their conversation, Stephen revealed he did an ethnicity test, and discovered he had dominant West African roots, which surprised him because he thought he was purely white. The Love is Blind duo confessed they felt more connected after their conversation.
At the end of Love is Blind episode 2, Tyler surprised Ashley A. by reading a prayer he specially wrote for them. As they enjoyed their food and listened to music, the Love is Blind cast member professed his love to Ashley A. He reassured her that he would have her back for life.
Later, Taylor and Garrett prepared to see each other for the first time. Both felt nervous, wondering how the other would react. Garrett was confident his feelings would not change irrespective of how Taylor looked. With that said, the episode ended before they could lay their eyes on each other.
