Hannah and Nick were among the many couples who got engaged in Love is Blind season 7 which premiered its first six episodes on October 2. They got engaged on episode 4 of the show and then got to see each other for the first time on episode 5.
Hannah, whose type was athletic men, thought Nick was exactly that because he had told her he was into football and working out. But when she saw him she thought he wasn't as she had imagined. She said in a confessional:
"He described himself as like a football player, bigger, medium build, 5'11. What he said, I don't think was really truthful".
The episode also saw some of the other couples getting engaged and meeting each other, including Ramses and Marissa, and Leo and Brittany. 6 couples then went on their honeymoon to Mexico, where they got to know each other on a deeper level.
Hannah and Nick see each other for the first time on episode 5 of Love is Blind season 7
After getting engaged from behind the wall in Love is Blind episode 4 of season 7, Hannah and Nick geared up to see each other for the first time. Hannah said she knew Nick was "hot and suave" because he played football and was a jock and talked about working out.
She said the worst-case scenario would be if he was very tiny, but she was more scared of him not liking her looks.
Then when they saw each other, they hugged and kissed. Nick went down on one knee and proposed to Hannah once again in person, she accepted the ring. He complimented her looks and her scent.
However, in a Love is Blind confessional, Hannah said that Nick didn't look like she expected. She said he painted himself as an athlete which she thought wasn't truthful. She said she was insecure about him being smaller than her. She added:
"When a guy is smaller than me, it's not even a me thing. But I know men start to feel emasculated by that".
She continued to say that he was a foot shorter than her. When Nick said he wasn't as beautiful as her, she said he was.
What else happened on Love is Blind season 7 episode 5?
Leo asked Brittany to marry him after he told her how sure he was about her and how he couldn't imagine a life without her. She immediately said yes. Ramses got flowers for Marissa and went down on one knee. Marissa said yes too.
It was then time for the big reveal between Leo and Brittany. Leo said that he loved her, while she said she didn't yet feel ready to say it. He said she could take her time. Unfortunately, a Love is Blind disclaimer said that Leo and Brittany weren't chosen as one of the six couples to go on the honeymoon to Mexico. They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement weeks later.
When Ramses and Marissa saw each other, they instantly found each other good-looking. They kissed and told each other how unreal it felt to see each other. Once the doors were closed, Marissa screamed with excitement.
The engaged couples then went to Mexico for their honeymoon, where they started getting to know each other better. The episode also saw little cracks appearing in some relationships, such as that of Alex and Tim. Alex didn't like when Tim said he loved his dog more than anything.
Nick also didn't like that Hannah cried with one of her girlfriends on Love is Blind but not in front of him. She said it was embarrassing to show her emotions to him. She then went into a Love is Blind confessional to say that when she first met him he didn't look as she had imagined, but over time she found him comfortable.
Later in the episode, she didn't like Nick playfully riding imitation ducks placed on the beach and was put off. She said that it gave her the ick.
New episodes of Love is Blind season 7 come out on October 9, on Netflix.
