In Love is Blind UK episode 3, apart from Tom, Nicole was also unsure of who to choose between Benaiah and Sam. Initially, Nicole felt more drawn toward Sam but when she heard that he wasn't genuine, she started doubting her intuition.
After Benaiah said he didn't trust Sam's motive and Jasmine mentioned Sam made promises to her as well, Nicole didn't know what decision to make. She went to the pods seeking clarity on the matter and asked Sam if he joined the show to look for love.
Sam reassured her that he was all in and there was no other reason behind his intention to be with her. By the time their conversation ended, Sam quickly asked Nicole to get engaged to him, Nicole felt she should trust her heart and be true to herself, so she said yes.

"Hearing you say you feel like you're not enough is weird to me because from when we've started to get to know each other in here, you've been more than enough. I want you to know that apart from feeling sorry that you have to got through that, I want you to know it doesn't change anything."
Tom and his newly formed connection with Maria and Natasha was also shown in episode 3. When Maria told Tom that he was her "number one" Tom couldn't say the same thing back. He explained that he had developed feelings for Natasha as well, so he wasn't sure about the decision yet.
