Recap of Love and Hip Hop: Miami season 6, episode 8

The Love and Hip Hop: Miami episode highlighted Triana voiced her frustrations about their overpacked schedule. She shared concerns about the stress and responsibilities piling up, saying:

“The schedule is overpacked. There’s so much stuff we got to do.”

Swurv, however, steered the conversation to discuss the drama surrounding Big D’s party, referring to it as “wild.” As they reflected on the turmoil, Triana suggested that the best approach would be to eliminate “outside noise,” including rumors and allegations. She encouraged Swurv to handle legal matters and move forward with clarity.

Swurv, addressing the rumors of fathering a child, expressed his frustration over people questioning his loyalty. In his confessional, he refused to confirm any details, stating:

“The past is the past. I’m for growth, happiness, and moving forward.”

Despite the tension, Triana reassured Swurv of her support as his wife and encouraged him to prioritize their relationship over external conflicts. Meanwhile, the episode shifted focus to Amara and Shay, who talked about the ongoing tension in their friendship. Amara expressed her discomfort with Shay posting pictures of her children on social media, saying:

“You and I are not in a positive space, then I see you posting on your page with your baby daddy holding my kids.”

Shay denied any malicious intent, insisting that her actions were not meant to attack Amara.

Later, Amara opened up about her struggles, including betrayal in her past relationships. Shay empathized with Amara, acknowledging the emotional pain and uneasiness that comes with such situations. Shay admitted, “It is so f***ing embarrassing,” while Amara reflected on her attempts to move forward despite the hardships.

The conversation in Love and Hip Hop: Miami also touched upon rumors involving Amara and Marlon, Flo’s husband. Amara clarified that her interactions with Marlon were purely out of gratitude, explaining that he had brought her flowers and cake to her workplace.

Amara emphasized that she encouraged Marlon to reconcile with his wife. Shay, impressed by Amara’s approach, commended her for being a supportive woman in such circumstances.

Amara then criticized Gaelle, Flo’s sister, accusing her of inappropriate behavior and calling her "trash." She also pointed out the strained relationships between Flo and Gaelle’s families. Meanwhile, Shay commented on this matter, noting the differences between the siblings and questioning their upbringing.

Despite their conversation, Amara and Shay realized that their past friendship was built on shared struggles and mutual understanding. The episode concluded with the two reconciling and publicly announcing their renewed friendship on social media. In an Instagram story, Shay declared, “We’re back!” while Amara added, “Seven years later, we’re back at it.”
