Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6 episode 9 recap: Princess slaps Amara while Estelita jumps in to stop the fight

Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6 episode 9, titled Sound & Fury, premiered on January 13 on VH1.

The episode kicked off with Estelita Quintero's event where she had invited both Princess Love and Amara La Negra knowing that they were at odds with each other.

When Princess and Amara's confrontation escalated into a fight, Estelita stepped in to break it up but ended up throwing punches at Princess, igniting the physical altercation.

Later in the episode, Amara separately confronted Ray J and Estelita believing that they were responsible for what had happened between her and Princess.

What happened on Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6 episode 9?

Princess and Amara clash at Estelita's event

At the start of Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6 episode 9, Princess confronted Amara about working with her husband Ray J on a movie and asked her if anything was going on between the two.

Amara firmly clarified that nothing had happened between her and Ray J, leaving no reason for her to inform Princess of anything.

"I had nothing to tell you before it happened. Because after it happened, and that's when I can tell you about 'This occurred'. And [if] nothing happened then what would I tell you?" Amara told Princess.

Despite the assurance, Princess felt that her fellow Love and Hip Hop Miami cast member was acting "stupid" and was hiding something from her. Feeling that Amara was lying, she called her a "fake as* b*tch" and slapped her on her face.

Noticing that the argument between the two had escalated into a fight, Estelita intervened to confront Princess, who initiated the fight, with punches of her own.

"What makes you think that you can come to my f*cking party and fight somebody? No b*tch," Estelita told Princess.

Amara threatens to sue Princess

Later in the episode, Amara had to visit the emergency room to treat a broken nail she sustained during her fight with Princess.

At the hospital entrance, Amara was met by Princess's husband, Ray J, who admitted in his confessional that he "kinda" felt responsible for the physical altercation that had occurred earlier in the episode.

Amara explained to Ray J that she had already informed Princess about his offer for her to star in a movie, which she had accepted. Reflecting on that conversation, Amara shared that Princess had asked if she and Ray J had ever kissed.

The Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6 star further noted that while she tried to reassure Princess that nothing had happened, she slapped her.

While Amara said that she wasn't blaming Ray J for what his wife did, she felt that he was also in some way responsible for it. She further threatened him that she would either let the "lord" handle the situation or hire a lawyer and sue Princess.

"I don't [blame you]. At this point, we're all adults. Everybody's responsible for their own behaviors.I don't know if I should let the Lord take revenge, to handle it, or if I should handle it," the Love and Hip Hop Miami star said.

Amara confronts Estelita for inviting Princess

At the end of episode 9 of Love and Hip Hop Miami season 6, Amara had a conversation with Estelita and asked her why she invited Princess knowing there was a "weird as* energy" between the two.

Estelita explained that she invited Princess on purpose because she was upset about Amara hanging out with Shay Johnson who had made fun of her past r*pe incident.

While the Love and Hip Hop Miami star admitted that she invited Princess to her party on purpose, she didn't know that Princess would start a fight with Amara.

Estelita then speculated that Princess didn't trust Ray J and might have felt that he was sleeping with Amara. Hence, she started a fight out of frustration.

By the end of their conversation, Estelita and Amara shared a heartfelt hug, vowing to support one another and promising never to turn against each other.
