Love Is Blind: Brazil season 4 has released its second batch of episodes, as the viewers of the reality show get to witness the couples vying for a second chance at relationships. From heartwarming moments to unexpected disclosures, the journey toward the altar for the contestants is turning out to be full of surprises.

Episode 5 of Love Is Blind: Brazil was released on June 26, showing the 5 couples having disagreements over the current situation of their relationship. The couples have started living together in the real world after their vacation, and friends and family visit each one.

What happened in episode 5 of Love Is Blind Brazil season 4?

All 5 couples moved from their vacation to the apartments designed specifically for them by the showrunners of Love Is Blind: Brazil. Before those events, Ariela and Evandro hinted at doubts creeping in, as to whether their relationship would work in the outside world.

Ariela hinted at her troubled past with her family and past relationships as well. She warned Evandro to be ready for what could come as she hinted her family usually interferes in her matters. She said:

"I've been in a few relationships where I had to be like, 'Ciao! Bye, I'm sorry.' I love my mother, I love my grandmother. I love my family, but I need to be the one who makes the decisions about my life."

The joy of moving to a new phase of life and an apartment was quickly cut short by doubts when the participants of Love Is Blind: Brazil were allowed to use their phones again after 20 days. All the couples showed concerns regarding the text messages they and their partners received while their phones were off.

Vanessa and Leonardo read tarot cards and went about the ordeal very smoothly. Until, they found out that Rodrigo, who was talking to Vanessa in The Pods, followed Leonardo and liked Vanessa's pictures on social media.

Patrick and Marilia boldly confessed that they were the jealous type as they went through each other's phones. The couple constantly grilled each other on each notification on their phones. Marilia claimed she felt that Patrick was jealous and trying to hide it from her. She stated:

"He provokes me and then is like, 'Just kidding.'"

Ariela and Evandro were settling into the apartment pretty well until Ariela found some suspicious conversations on Evandro's phone that led to continuous arguments. Evandro tried to de-escalate the situation but Ariela refused to reciprocate those emotions when she saw many of the texts Evandro sent to a woman referring to her as "love". Ariela said:

"It's way more than I thought it was."

Evandro tried to defend himself and explained it was before the show and he didn't have any feelings for the person which didn't seem reasonable to Ariela. She said:

"Don't treat me like an idiot, Evandro."

The situation seemed to worsen when either family members or friends visited all the couples. As Ariela welcomed her sister, Bianca, she was agitated and immediately started venting her frustrations towards Evandro's texts.

Bianca was sympathetic towards Ariela but also tried to put forward the thought that Evandro didn't do anything wrong as he was upfront with the whole situation. In the confessional interview, Evandro suggested that Ariela has some past trauma that she can't get past and needs to work on herself first before getting into a relationship.

Among the other couples of Love Is Blind: Brazil, Vanessa meets Leonardo's mother, Renata meets Alexandre's son, and Ingrid is invited to Leandro's home where she meets his family to a mixed response. Ingrid was surprised by his family's reactions and suggested there was something that Leandro hadn't disclosed.

Ariela and Evandro continued their fight regarding the texts. Moreover, suggesting that they should go separate ways. Ariela agreed immediately and started packing her bags. The end of the episode saw Ariela leaving her engagement ring on the table along with a goodbye letter.

The 8 episodes of Love Is Blind: Brazil season 4 are available on Netflix while the remaining two will be released on July 3.
