Love Is Blind season 8 takes place in Minneapolis

As mentioned, Love Is Blind season 8 will premiere on February 14, 2025. Host Vanessa also confirmed that next year the social experiment would be heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota to help the new batch of singles find love, that looks past the appearance of a person.

"This Valentine's Day, 2025, will mark the five-year anniversary. And it is gonna be the launch of season eight, which takes place in Minneapolis!" Vanessa announced.

The reunion episode also introduced viewers to 3 contestants—Alex, Brittany, and Joey, who will join the other hopeful singles in the upcoming Love Is Blind season 8. The trio was present in the audience, offering fans a sneak peek at the incoming pod squad.

To build excitement for the season, host Vanessa asked Alex what it was about living in Minneapolis that made him struggle to find "the one" and ultimately decide, "I'm going to go on Love Is Blind." Explaining his situation and dating life in Minneapolis Alex answered:

"I personally just prioritized other things in my life, and work and friends and travel. It's such a small community. It's not like a major city, but it's also not a small town. So you kind of see the same people over and over, and it's a small bar scene, so. Yeah, I just never found the right person that clicked for me, but I'm excited to ... to be here."

Love is Blind season 7 contestants' advice for the next pod squad

As per Netflix Tudum's video released on October 31, the season 7 contestant Hannah advised the season 8 contestants to "live in the moment" and have fun. She said that they would learn a lot about themselves from the experiment.

The medical device sales rep further added the best person for this social experiment was the one who was willing to take the risk. Without being scared and worried about the outcome they need to put themselves in the game.

Taylor told the next pod squad to be ready for the as the reality show would be an unexpected journey for them. She shared she had no idea as to what to expect and that it was a "wild ride" for her. Ultimately she "lucked out" and was able to find her current husband Garrett in the end.

Tim jokingly said that Love is Blind season 8 shouldn't compare themselves to a celebrity and need to have a bit of thick skin, and people would be coming after them for anything they do. Meanwhile, Marissa advised:

"Go on to the date, and have a lot of... deep, necessary conversations, talk about the little things. But also have a lot of fun. I think there are a lot of dates where people just start constantly crying and trauma-dumping and I like had fun on so many with certain dates. Even if they didn't lead to engagement, I learned a lot about myself."

Stephen advised the contestants to "be as honest as you possibly can." He emphasized that they would need to stay true to themselves throughout the journey, even if others might not always appreciate their honesty.

Episodes 1-13 of Love is Blind season 7 are available for streaming on Netflix.
