What to expect from the Love Is Blind UK reunion?
Details regarding Nicole, Benaiah, and Sam's love triangle
In the earlier episodes of Love Is Blind UK, Nicole connected with both Sam and Benaiah. She was confused to choose between the two guys.
This conflict spread between the two male participants as Benaiah often criticized Sam and told Nicole in the pods that he didn't trust Sam's intentions. Nicole preferred Sam over Benaiah and chose to trust the former as they both tearfully opened up to each other about their feelings.
Heartbroken, Benaiah left the show as Sam and Nicole decided to meet for the first time. Sam proposed and Nicole said yes, but as soon as Sam returned to the male quarters, Nicole confessed to the cameras that she wasn't sure about Sam after meeting him. These doubts made Nicole decide that she wouldn't join the other couples in the honeymoon phase.
In the second batch of episodes, Nicole apologized to Benaiah and admitted that she made a mistake. Benaiah and Sam clashed over the situation in episode 8 as both wanted to say their peace on the matter. The reunion episode will definitely give reality TV fans some closure regarding where their stories headed right after the show ended.
Tom and Maria's fate after the finale
One of the couples that looked strong throughout the run of Love Is Blind UK was Tom and Maria. In the honeymoon phase, the couple had shared intimate details about each other's private lives and families. But cracks started to emerge in paradise when Natasha made a comeback in episode 8.
Tom openly admitted to having trouble with the relationship and was unsure if he dared to tie the knot so soon after the show. Although Tom chose Maria, he shared a great bond with Natasha early on. They connected on many fronts, but Tom ultimately chose Maria over Natasha, leaving the latter devasted by the outcome.
Natasha claimed that her connection with Tom wasn't over and she would wait for him in real life. Tom's reluctance to commit to Maria completely gave this story a new twist. The finale will showcase if the couple made it to the altar or not. The reunion will provide an update on their present relationship dynamics outside the show.
The reunion episode of Love Is Blind UK will be released on August 26 on Netflix.
