Love Island USA season 6 aired its latest episode on Friday, July 5. The islanders received a message stating that the male cast members would return to the main villa for a recoupling ceremony, marking the end of Casa Amor week in episode 22.
In the previous episode, Kaylor was sent a video from Casa Amor where she saw Aaron getting close to 'bombshell' Daniela. In the same video, Serena saw Kordell getting intimate with a new single, Daia.
Serena and Kaylor were heartbroken and appeared fixated on severing ties with their partners. Meanwhile, Leah, JaNa, and Nicole felt anxious about the future of their relationships. At the recoupling, each cast member, apart from the Casa Amor singles, had the choice to either reconnect with their partners, break up, or couple up with a 'bombshell.'

Liv chose to pair with newcomer Caine. Kenny coupled up with Catherine, leaving JaNa single, and Kendall and Nicole reconnected. Aaron returned without a girl, but Kaylor broke up with him. Serena remained single as Kordell brought Daia with him as his partner. Leah was left single as Miguel walked in with Sierra. Meanwhile, Rob came with Daniela, surprising everyone.
What happened at the Casa Amor recoupling in episode 22 of Love Island USA?
The female islanders and the new male 'bombshells' were greeted by Ariana, who asked the girls about their decisions as each of their partners returned from Casa Amor. The girls could pair up with a new person, reconnect with their original partner, or break up with them if they walked in with another woman.
Liv was the first to announce her decision. The Love Island USA cast member walked into Casa Amor week single since her last partner, Nigel, was voted out of the villa. When asked about her final answer, she chose Caine for herself. Next was Nicole, who stayed loyal to Kendall. Seeing the latter return alone made Nicole happy, leading to their reunion.
Leah, Miguel's partner, chose not to recouple with someone new, displaying her loyalty to Miguel. She stared in disbelief when he walked in with Sierra. However, Miguel clarified that although he brought Sierra, he was "not in a relationship" and wished to keep all his options open.
"Just 'cause I may be here with her [Sierra], I'm not in a relationship. I'm just here trying to get to know people, to make the conscious decision, the right decision, so I can walk with the right choice," said Miguel.
When asked how Leah felt about Miguel's decision, she admitted she expected it, but at the same time, she harbored feelings for him. JaNa decided to remain loyal to her Love Island USA partner, Kenny. However, she was enraged when he walked in with Catherine. Furious, JaNa wanted to leave the show immediately.
She confronted Kenny about the reason behind his choice. He admitted his connection with JaNa was stronger. However, he brought Catherine into the main villa to test his connection with JaNa, since he was not "tested at all."
Next was Kaylor, who chose to be single instead of recoupling with someone new or reuniting with her Love Island USA partner, Aaron.
"And from what I saw, I'm not going to stay loyal to Aaron because he wasn't loyal to me on his journey at Casa," said Kaylor.
Following Aaron's return, Kaylor revealed she watched a video of him at Casa Amor and demanded an explanation, but the former insisted they talk privately. She confessed that she felt disrespected by his flirtatious behavior with other women. Kaylor also criticized Love Island USA co-star Kendall for encouraging Aaron's behavior.
The next to enter the villa was Rob. He walked in with Daniela, surprising everyone. Kaylor was taken aback once she realized Rob brought the girl Aaron flirted with to Casa Amor. When asked about his decision, Rob said:
"Too soon to tell, but I think it's a good start. I'm happy."
Last was Kordell, who entered the Love Island USA villa with Daia. He struggled to look at Serena, who had chosen to be single. When he saw Serena standing alone, he said he did not feel good. Serena accused him of getting intimate with Daia, while Kordell said she was taking it out of context.
"You're obligated to feel how you feel. I'm not gonna disrespect how you feel. I get it," said Kordell.
She admitted she knew he would betray her the moment someone else gave him a little attention.
"I really hope, I really wish you the best and I'm wiping my hands off this sh*t. I don't deserve it. Do you, boo," said Serena.
By the end of the episode, four women, Kaylor, Leah, JaNa, and Serena were left "single and vulnerable."
