Love Island USA season 6 released its latest episode on Monday, July 15. Viewers witnessed the islanders getting steamy in the much-awaited Heart Rate Challenge. Islanders wowed each other with their performances, flaunting different costumes and making heartbeats race. Cast members were taken aback by 'bombshell' Kassy entering the villa.
Kassy participated in the challenge, showing a keen interest in co-star Miguel. Ahead of the challenge, Kenny and JaNa shared details about their night in the Hideaway. Meanwhile, Rob, uncertain about his relationship with Daniela, cut ties with her.
Toward the end of the episode, viewers saw four couples being saved by the public's votes, while Aaron and Kaylor, Daniela and Rob, and Sierra and Harrison landed at the bottom of the list.

What happened in episode 31 of Love Island USA season 6?
Kenny and JaNa headed to the Hideaway at the start of the episode. They explored the amenities at the romantic getaway, excited to spend time alone. Meanwhile, Kaylor and Aaron discussed their future together, analyzing how they would manage their relationship since Aaron lived in the UK and Kaylor in America.
The following morning, Rob confessed to Aaron that he did not feel compatible with Daniela.
"We are in different places mentally," said Rob.
Later, at the dock, Rob tells Aaron that he felt guilty about leading Daniela into their relationship, regretting not speaking to her sooner. He felt Daniela was "people-pleasing" him, agreeing with whatever he said to be with him. At the same time, Daniela confided in Sierra about how secure she felt in her connection with Rob.
"Clearly, Love Island is not the place where Rob finds love," said Rob.
The Love Island USA islanders greeted JaNa and Kenny as they returned from the Hideaway. The couple shared their experience at the romantic getaway, stating how the setup helped them get closer to each other.
"The Hideaway definitely allowed us to reach a new level of closeness," said JaNa.
In another scene, Serena and Kordell discussed the pace they wanted to move at. While Kordell seemed interested in making things official, Serena felt they did not have to act like everyone else. During a private chat with his Love Island USA partner, Daniela, Rob expressed concerns about their relationship, stating he was unsure if they had a future together.
Rob insisted they break up. Although Daniela braved through the conversation, she felt heartbroken.
"I don't think, like, I would wanna continue," said Rob.
Sierra was shocked when Daniela shared the news about her breakup. Before Rob cut ties with her, Daniela was also rejected by Love Island USA co-star Aaron. Those rejections made her feel unwanted and betrayed.
"I just feel like I do need to love myself more. I feel like that's something I need to learn sometimes," said Daniela.
The islanders soon received the text about the Heart Rate Challenge. Divided by gender, the cast members competed against each other to see which team made the islanders' hearts race the most. Kenny performed as "quarterback Kenny" and presented his "Shakira impressions" to impress the ladies.
Rob impressed the viewers with his cowboy get-up. He attempted to get close to his Love Island USA ex-partner Leah. However, he reserved his special moves for Daniela. Kordell's "problem solver" personality pleasantly surprised most of the women; however, Harrison's "Thor" cosplay received an underwhelming response.
Aaron won Kaylor's heart with his angelic performance, while Kendall's grunting noises left Leah repulsed. Miguel's take on a firefighter left the women speechless.
"It's giving I need to propose to him with, like, a 24 karat ring," said Leah.
Next up were the female Love Island USA cast members. Kaylor danced through her entrance, dressed as a cheerleader. She got intimate with Aaron, Harrison, and Kenny during her act. Serena, the "sassy cowgirl," presented her dance moves, winning Kordell's heart.
Leah's act, dressed as the "love doctor," left many hearts racing. She specifically tested Rob's temperature and jokingly added:
"I think he still has the hots for me."
Daniela, "the ringmaster," tried to kiss Aaron during her act, but he dodged her. Sierra focused her performance on her partner, Harrison. Meanwhile, Nicole's steamy moves left Kendall pleasantly surprised. The cast thought the challenge ended with JaNa's performance as a "cat," but 'bombshell' Kassy's entry surprised everyone.
She displayed a stronger attraction to Miguel, which bothered Leah. As the challenge ended, Love Island USA Aftersun host Maura Higgins, announced that while Kendall, Kordell, and Aaron's hearts raced for their partners, Rob's raced for Leah.
Harrison and Kenny's hearts beat for Kaylor, while Miguel's for Kassy. Kaylor, JaNa, and Serena's hearts raced for their partners, but Sierra, Leah, and Nicole's raced for Kordell. With that, Maura announced the men as victorious.
She then announced who America voted as the most compatible couple. The top four couples were Kenny and JaNa, Kendall and Nicole, Miguel and Leah, and Serena and Kordell. Meanwhile, Aaron and Kaylor, Daniela and Rob, and Sierra and Harrison were at the bottom of the list. Maura handed the responsibility to save one couple from the three to the safe islanders.
