Love and Marriage: Huntsville season 9 episode 12 recap - Latricia and Melody clash while Nell visits her mother's grave

Love and Marriage: Huntsville season 9 continued its run on OWN TV, with episode 12 airing on January 18, 2025. The show originally premiered on November 2, 2024.

Previously on Love and Marriage: Huntsville, Melody confronted Chris about introducing Martell and LaTricia to each other. Martell and Marsau tried to reconcile their differences.

The latest episode saw Nell inviting LaTricia to her home to talk about Martell and LaTricia's split with Marques. Nell later broke down in tears in front of her family when they visited her mother's gravesite. LaTricia and Melody later confronted each other to discuss further about their conflict.

"Tricia informs her kids she's divorcing their dad, while Ken admits to problems in their relationship. Nell breaks down while visiting her mother's grave. At the bachelorette party, Tricia and Melody clash over who's shady and who's messy."

What happened in Love and Marriage: Huntsville season 9 episode 12?

The episode of Love and Marriage: Huntsville kicked off with Nell inviting Latricia to her home. LaTricia gradually opened up to Nell as they shared further intimate details about their lives. The Love and Marriage: Huntsville star revealed that she was hoping to talk to Nell about Martell. Latricia shared that she and Martell hung out in her home but didn't get physically intimate.

Nell further questioned LaTricia about her ex-husband, Marques and wondered why it took her so long to sign the divorce papers. LaTricia confided in Nell and told her that Marques wanted to "find himself" at first which she allowed. She added that she was not in a good place as she had lost important people from her life.

"We separated. I was in a dark place 'cause you know, I lost a lot of people," LaTricia shared.

In another segment, LaTricia's boyfriend Ken sat down with his friend, Will, to talk about their relationship. He revealed that the current revelation of LaTricia going out with Martell had put doubts in his mind. Ken opened up further on Love and Marriage: Huntsville and stated that despite him being able to take a lot emotionally, he was finding the whole situation difficult to handle.

Nell and her family visited her mother’s gravesite. She expressed that she did not want to visit as it was hard to relive those feelings. Kayla, Chris and Nell's daughter stated that she was happy to join her family as it would have been difficult for her to come alone. As Nell's children expressed some gratitude towards their grandmother, Nell got emotional.

"She was a good mom, she was an excellent grandmother. I always thought I wanted to live up to her expectations," a tearful Nell stated.

Later, Melody confronted LaTricia and asked whether she had an issue with her. LaTricia denied it, claiming that she didn't know her enough to have an issue with her. Despite this, LaTricia claimed that she was not happy with the way Melody instigated the situation between LaTricia, Marques, and Ken during the celebration. This irked Melody who believed everybody present in the celebration was doing the same.

In a separate confessional on Love and Marriage: Huntsville, Melody said that she intended to stay calm during the confrontation. She defended herself, stating that she wanted to address the issue head-on as she didn't say anything out of the ordinary. As the episode was about to conclude, Sunni walked in which raised a few eyebrows amongst the cast.
