The relationships of six South African couples are being put to the ultimate test on Netflix's Love Never Lies: South Africa, which was released on November 28, 2024.

Host Minenhle 'Minnie' Dlamini guides the couples — Kuda and Lynn, Naledi and Nikiwe, Nancy and Bohlale, Clayton and Wilfred, Munaka and Gontse, and Siya and Pretty — as they work to rebuild their relationships and compete for a cash prize. But with singles tempting them and trust issues running deep, it's unclear who will stay loyal and who will cheat.

The contestants are divided into two villas, Umgowo and Umjolo. Umgowo had Kuda, Nikiwe, Nancy, Wilfred, Gontse, and Pretty, while Villa Umjolo had Lynn, Naledi, Bohlale, Clayton, and Munaka.

Betrayal and heartache hang in the air in episode 4 as the Love Never Lies: South Africa contestants struggle to accept their partners' infidelities. As Nancy and Nikiwe grapple with the aftermath of their partners' actions, a new shake-up is on the horizon — the group is switching places, and fresh faces are arriving at the villa.

In episode 4, titled Table Have Turned, Minnie revealed that the contestants had the chance to earn back some money if they decided to open up in front of everyone. Nancy earned the team 10,000 Rand as she opted to state the truth and revealed that she won't be able to forgive Bolhale as he humiliated her for life.

Next was Nikiwe, who revealed she was nervous, but Minnie encouraged her to go through the round to earn more Rands. She was shown footage of Naledi discussing financial troubles with other contestants, which annoyed Nikiwe.

"I'm particularly p**sed off because I don't feel comfortable with you discussing my money situations and what I can and cannot do for my kid," Nikiwe said.

Nikiwe became more emotional on Love Never Lies: South Africa as she saw Naledi flirting with Imogel. Naledi even confessed that she didn't want to be monogamous with Nikiwe.

Gontse was next to come up front and was told that his partner Munaka felt more comfortable with Jordan. Gontse felt nothing could be done with Munaka as it seemed she had moved on.

Naledi and Munaka's lies cut 20,000 Rands from the prize pot. Then Kuda entered the picture, who got nervous after seeing Lynn with another man. In her confessional, Lynn lied about not wanting to get married to Kuda, which cut another 10,000 Rands from the prize pot.

Minnie revealed that new singles will come to the Villa Umjolo as Lihle walks in to go on a date with Gontse. Love Never Lies: South Africa contestants who were in Villa Umgowo proceeded to go on a boat ride and had drinks to loosen up.

Kuda met up with Star, and Shaun greeted Pretty. Meanwhile, Thabang went out with Wilfred, and Kgosi took Nikiwe out. Villa Umjolo welcomed the change of pace as they met new singles after discovering their partners did the same.

While in the other villa, things got heated as Bohlale got emotional. He confessed to being intimate with Mia while being with Nancy. When Munaka confronted Bohlale about the situation, the latter got irked by other contestants who were constantly trying to push him into the conversation.

Munaka later revealed in a confessional that she felt Bohlale was just making excuses for his infidelity.

"You hurt someone and nothing you say around, 'Oh, but this was a...' No one cares. We don't care, my guy," said Munaka in a confessional.

Minnie told them it was their partners' turn to go out with singles. This upset a few in Villa Umgowo.
