On the Love Never Lies: South Africa reunion episode, Siya revealed that he had met Pretty's parents who gave him an ultimatum to get married. In an exclusive video package, Siya and Pretty's year recap was shown as the couples moved in together. Pretty reflected on her relationship since they both left the show, she stated she was satisfied with her connection with Siya.
During the reunion episode, Pretty opened up about her feelings regarding her partner. She addressed her prior statements about Siya not being his type, Pretty said:
"It is stronger, better, a hundred percent. I can't complain about anything. My end goal is just to succeed with my partner and just make it in this life. Let me make it clear, my man is handsome and I love him. Yeah, I have a type, even though Siya is not that type, but I appreciate him. He is more than enough for me."
