Netflix's Love Is Blind season 7 premiered on October 2, 2024, and released two new episodes (10 &11) on October 16, 2024. The show follows singles as they enter the pods in hopes of mingling with other singles and finding their true match to prove that love is indeed blind.

Many singles ended up in love triangles as they shared intimate details about their personal life and formed an emotional bond. In the new episodes, three couples managed to survive after all the ups and downs that come with a relationship.

Those couples are Taylor and Garrett, Ashley and Tyler, and Marissa and Ramses.

Marissa and Ramses were also part of love triangles in the pods of Love Is Blind. Marissa connected with both Ramses and Bohdan as she shared interests with the men that aligned with her own. She ultimately chose Ramses and the couple is still going strong as we approach the finale.

In an October 3 interview with Reality Tea, Marissa revealed that she got to know both men better. However, when the topic of physical intimacy was brought up, Ramses was able to provide the comfort she was seeking.

“The physical intimacy conversation Ramses and I had was really the defining moment that made me realize that this is the person I want to be with. The way he spoke about it and the questions he asked me made me feel very safe, and that was important to me,” stated Marissa.

The Love Is Blind journey of Marissa and Ramses from pods to the altar explored

As mentioned before, Marissa was able to form connections with both Ramses and Bohdan. The latter was a military veteran just like herself and the two connected over shared experiences.

Marissa on her part stated aloud that she was tired of hypermasculine military guys who ended up leaving.

Despite the shared bond with Bohdan, Ramses stood out for Marissa as he was in touch with his emotions and against the idea of patriarchy. As Ramses and Marissa talked further, they discovered they had more in common than they initially thought.

The two bonded over how they were brought up and their past relationships, including Ramses' past marriage.

Ramses wrote a letter for Marissa in which he declared his ever-lasting love for her and an emotional Marissa said yes to his proposal.

“I’ve never laid eyes on you, but I find you to be so extraordinarily beautiful,” said Ramses.

This led to the couple becoming one of the six couples who flew to Mexico for their honeymoon phase. They soon established themselves as a strong couple in Love Is Blind but clashed over Ramses' strong opinions regarding the military.

He stated in front of Marissa's friends that their relationship would be over if she enlisted again.

They eventually got past the subject as Marissa had since moved on to get a degree and a job in the field of law. Afterward, they met Marissa's family, including her mother who was outspoken about Ramses' outdated look and expressed her concerns over his career and earning capabilities.

Later, they also had different views when it came to birth control and physical intimacy.

Just before the finale's release on October 23, 2024, the couple managed to push through all the conflicts. Days before the wedding, Marissa tried on wedding dresses with Love Is Blind host Vanessa Lachey where her mother even acknowledged Ramses' efforts and declared she was on board the wedding.

Only time will tell if the couple made it to the altar and said "I do" to each other as the finale approaches. Until then, watch the first 11 episodes of Love Is Blind season 7 on Netflix.
