The series revolves around Homerun Brokers and the firm’s young agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives. Professional lives of Homerun Brokers

The trailer for Making it in Marbella offers a glimpse into the inner workings and the professional lives of Homerun Brokers. Swedish CEO Eric Ebbing launched the firm in 2020. It has over 24 staff members from all over the globe. The show will, however, only delve into the lives of its top employees.

Eric Ebbing will be the show's central point and will be holding Homerun Brokers together. Besides the CEO of the real estate firm, former professional footballer Matias Concha will also join the cast and fulfill his duties as a partner at Homerun Brokers.

The development team will also get involved in the making and renovation of several properties. The trailer shows a scene where Eric Ebbing gets furious when his business expansion manager Robert Bazo goes against his development plans and breaks a wall they were supposed to finish. After watching the destruction video,

"He destroyed a wall we were gonna keep... This is the biggest f***up ever," Eric said.

Head of Marketing Jennifer Rocamora tells Eric that he is overreacting, however, the CEO of the Homerun company sticks to his words.

Internal drama

The personal drama between the cast members is a staple of real estate reality shows, and Making it in Marbella follows suit. The trailer packed multiple tense moments between the Homerun staff members. They argue over being a better agent and their dislike for their fellow cast members' work ethics.

Matias Concha says at the start of the trailer that the competition among them is "fierce" and that they are "not here to play," but to win. Eric Ebbing further adds in his trailer voice-over that there are different individuals on their team, however, it is hard for them to work together as a team.

"If you look at Homerun, there are so many different individuals. All of them are used to getting attention. But it's hard to get them to work well together, " Eric says in his voiceover.

Most of the cast members have differences with Robert Bazo. Miah van de Bilt says in the trailer that the business expansion manager was very disrespectful while another cast member says that she "doesn't trust him at all."
