Selling the City focuses on the lives of cast members working at the brokerage Douglas Elliman. The cast includes boss Eleonora Srugo, Abigail, and real estate agents Gisselle, Jade, Taylor, Jordyn Taylor, and Justin. Steve, the real estate broker at The Corcoran Group is also a cast member in this series.

In the newly released episode 6, Jordyn and Gisselle clashed over a celebrity client. According to Gisselle, she wanted to prove herself to the team and Eleonora and this was just the right chance.

Gisselle felt upset after she found out Jordyn had run into a high-profile client and had not informed her about it. She opened up about her feelings to her colleague upon which Jordyn stated that the business relationship should not be mixed with something "personal". She said:

"You are making this a personal thing. I'm not fighting over who knows this person better."

Selling the City episode 5 titled A DUMBO Dilemma was released exclusively on Netflix on Friday, January 3, 2025. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"A turf war breaks out over a celebrity client, causing friction in the office. Eleonora has a confrontation with Jade that ends in tears."

What happened between Jordyn and Gisselle on Selling the City episode 5?

In Selling the City episode 5, Eleonora revealed that a potential high-profile client was looking for a purchase and that both Jordyn and Gisselle knew that person. During the real estate Abi's confessional interview, she disclosed who the celebrity client is:

"It's Micheal B. Jordan. We all know, it's public record. Everybody knows who it is. I don't know why we're all talking in codes."

Gisselle and Jordyn addressed the situation as they both met with one another to have a discussion. Selling the City cast member Gisselle told Jordyn she was upset that the later reached out to the celebrity client without telling her. Jordyn stated that she had no "personal relationship" with the client hence it would go "well." She continued:

"My point is that there's no real personal relationship. It is a cut-and-dry business relationship which is why this works so well. To me, it was unclear that you guys had any type of real estate relationship. For me, it felt very personal to you. To me, that doesn't go well often times for a business relationship. It muddies things."

The Selling the City real estate agent told Gisselle that Eleonora had given her the same tip in front of the former. Jordyn asked Gisselle why she didn't reach out to the client beforehand. Upon hearing this question Gisselle mentioned that Jordyn should be the one lifting her up and that as a friend should have let her know "she ran into this person." Gisselle elaborated:

"Me and him are just friends. There's nothing there anymore. The only reason it's a personal thing is because I just really want to prove myself."

Episode 6 highlighted the after-effects of the clash between Gisselle and Jordyn. Viewers can stream Selling the City episodes one to eight exclusively on Netflix. Don't forget to follow the cast members on their official Instagram accounts.
