Season 11 of Married to Medicine released episode 7, titled Mean Girls Gala on Sunday, January 12, 2025. It showcased Jackie preparing for her Med Gala while others questioned Phaedra's promise to raise $100K for the event. Phaedra criticized the ladies for doubting her skills, saying she was not like them and delivered as promised.

Elsewhere, Heavenly threw a party for her son Zachary but raised eyebrows by not inviting Contessa and Lateasha to the get-together. Toya disapproved of her decision, saying it could have allowed her to mend fences with her co-stars and put all disputes behind her. Moreover, the event could have helped bring the group closer.

Elsewhere, Heavenly and Lateasha's husbands hashed out their differences and agreed to prioritize their friendship. Later in the episode, despite the ladies' worries, the Med Gala successfully concluded, raising significant money and portraying the ladies in a good light.

The official synopsis of Married to Medicine episode 7 reads:

"Heavenly throws Zachary a going-away party at their lake house; the ladies question Phaedra's ability to raise money for the Med Gala; Phaedra gets defensive and has some choice words for the ladies."

What happened in Married to Medicine season 11 episode 7?

When the ladies gathered at Heavenly's lake house to celebrate Zachary's going-away party, Toya expressed concern over not inviting Contessa and Lateasha to the event. While speaking to the cameras, the Married to Medicine cast member confessed that it was not "right" to exclude people from group events based on differences.

When Toya urged Heavenly to apologize to Contessa about the "mama comment," she agreed to oblige. Soon after, Heavenly criticized Phaedra for not helping Jackie with the Med Gala. She called her out for not delivering what she promised, putting Jackie in a difficult spot. However, Phaedra disagreed, saying she was "more on time than FedEx."

Phaedra said she would write a cheque if needed rather than not commit to her word. The ladies got offended when Phaedra mentioned she was not "b***hes" like them and claimed they were on the same income level and were as qualified as her. Later, each cast member agreed to pay $2,500 to meet the Gala's goal.

In another segment of the Married to Medicine episode, Phaedra sat down with Lateasha to discuss how Jackie confided in the other ladies that she was displeased with Phaedra's contribution. Lateasha criticized Jackie for holding Phaedra accountable but turning a blind eye to Heavenly's behavior.

"I don't know if they're fearful of Heavenly or if they are just the same people and they use Heavenly as their tool to manifest bad behavior," Phaedra said.

When Phaedra revealed that Heavenly planned on apologizing to Contessa, Lateasha wondered when she would apologize to her for criticizing her marriage openly.

Later, the Married to Medicine cast gathered with friends and family at Jackie's Med Gala. Contessa arrived with her daughter Lauren and revealed that her husband Walter Scott Metcalfe chose not to attend the event since Heavenly's harsh comments hurt him. Contessa believed it was wise for him not to meet Heavenly so soon after the feud.

Meanwhile, Lateasha and Heavenly's respective partners, Gregory and Damon hashed out their differences and agreed not to let their wives' disputes affect their friendship.

Soon after, a live auction began to raise money, in which various items were sold, including a trip to Morocco, O shots, a cooking class with Quad, and a date with Phaedra Parks. The Married to Medicine ladies were surprised to see one of Phaedra's friends pay $4000 for a date with her.

"I don't think Phaedra will pay $4000 to hang out with Phaedra," Toya said in a confessional.

After the auction, Phaedra, Jackie, and Heavenly headed backstage to calculate the money raised. While Heavenly claimed Phaedra had "some work to do" to reach her mentioned target of $100K, Phaedra remained confident in her abilities.

Jackie revealed that they raised $53,340 from ticket sales and the auction, and needed another $46,660 to cover the balance. Upon hearing that, Phaedra said:

"That's good, I got it."

While speaking to the cameras, Jackie stated everyone needed a friend like Phaedra for whom $46,660 was like "small change." Ultimately, they were able to donate the money to help reduce maternity mortality, especially in the Black community.
