MasterChef: Generations — Who went home so far?

Four different generations—Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z—compete against one another in the reality cooking show MasterChef: Generations. Judged by Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, and Joe Bastianich, the show puts each generation's culinary prowess and flexibility to the test through a variety of themed tasks.

Night 2: The First Eliminations (July 31, 2024)

The show resumed on Night 2 of MasterChef: Generations, with the generations competing to produce dishes made with fermented and aged ingredients. Rebecka, a baby boomer who has the Immunity Pin, decided to use Stilton cheese in recipes that were intended for Gen X.

The night finished with Sunshine, a 50-year-old yoga instructor from Portland, Oregon, being sent home despite the difficulty of the assignment. Her removal was the season's first departure, establishing the tone for the intense battle that lay ahead.

Night 3: Team Challenges and Departures (August 7, 2024)

The first combined team challenge was introduced on Night 3 in MasterChef: Generations. While Baby Boomers were paired with Millennials, Gen X contestants were clubbed with Gen Z(s) . They were given the task of cooking an elegant dinner for Major League Soccer's Los Angeles FC. The Baby Boomers-Millennials team decided to prepare halibut, while the Gen X-Gen Z team chose to prepare steak.

Chris, a 45-year-old real estate businessman from Mobile, Alabama, was eliminated as the game went on. His exit was a pivotal point that revealed the growing demands and intricacy of the team's problems.

Nights 4 and 5: Individual and Mystery Box Challenges (August 14, 2024)

On Nights 4 and 5 of MasterChef: Generations, the competition continued with individual tasks. In the Birthday Bakes episode, contestants had to make a two-layer birthday cake. Millennial Anna chose to mix the cakes made by Gen Z manually. In the second hour, participants in a Mystery Box challenge prepared meals utilizing classic childhood ingredients.

Due to the severity of these individual problems, Anna, a 37-year-old tax director from Dallas, Texas, was eliminated. Her exit after the cake challenge marked a turning point in the show and brought attention to the high expectations and demanding requirements of the contest.

Nights 6 and 7: Beer-Based and Team Challenges (August 21, 2024)

The challenges concept persisted on Nights 6 and 7 of MasterChef: Generations, with one episode called Beer Necessities requiring contestants to include Blue Moon Beer into their dishes.
