Joe apologized to Magda for hiding his past with Jill and assured her that it was a long time ago and they didn't have feelings for each other anymore. Magda accepted his apology and told him to be honest with her going forward in their relationship.
Later in her confessional, Madga shared that she might have overreacted a little when she found out about Jill. She explained that she was very angry at the time. However, seeing how Joe was sorry for hurting her she decided to give him one last chance.

Joe and Magda sat down in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 19 to get over their issue regarding the Jill situation. Joe apologized to Magda for hiding his past with his longtime friend, Jill. He explained that he had been in a relationship with Jill many years ago, but their friendship spanned far longer than the time they had dated.
"I'm not trying to pursue her romantically in any way. We've been friends for 15 years, we've been through a lot of things together, so I don't want you to view it as a threat," he continued.
Magda accepted Joe's apology and assured him that she wasn’t upset or judging him for his past. However, she expressed her frustration over his decision to lie and hide such an important part of his life from her.
The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star emphasized that building a future together would be impossible without honesty. Magda also recalled a past incident when she had asked her 90 Day Fiancé partner if he had any history with his friends, and he had told her that he didn’t.

"I love you too. I wanna be with you, so just you have to give me just a little time to trust you again. But I don't want to find out you will spend time with her face to face. For now, I'm not ready for that, to trust you. But it's not like I want you to block her or whatever. You can still have contact with her on the phone," Magda responded.
As an apology, Joe offered Magda a blue necklace as a gift, noting how it matched the color of her nails. So he decided to give her a gift hoping to make her realize how important she was to him and how sorry he was.
