16 and Pregnant alum Autumn Crittendon found dead in her home at age 27

16 and Pregnant star Autumn Crittendon, who fans may also know as Autumn Oxley, has tragically passed away at the age of 27 as confirmed by authorities.

The Henrico County Police Department shared an official statement with People on Monday, July 22, about the former reality TV star's passing, saying that paramedics were reportedly called around 3:15 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, to a home in Sandston, Virginia. The 16 and Pregnant star was found unresponsive in her bedroom, and paramedics tried to revive her, but to no avail. She was soon pronounced dead on the scene.

The statement further reads:

"Members from Henrico Fire attempted life-saving measures however they were not effective."

The police department is "currently classifying the incident as a death investigation" and authorities are working with the medical examiner to find out Crittendon's exact cause of death.

For the unversed, Autumn Crittendon joined the cast of the MTV reality show 16 and Pregnant during its fifth season in 2014. She was on the show alongside her then-boyfriend Dustin Franklin, while pregnant with her eldest son, Drake. Her pregnancy journey up to his son's birth, as well as her going to court to get child support, were featured in the show.

Crittendon went on to have two more children but chose to keep her life private after the reality TV show. She's survived by her three children, Drake, Abigail, and Luke.

Autumn Crittendon is the latest 16 and Pregnant alum to pass away

Autumn Crittendon's death is shocking to fans. However, she's not the first one from the 16 and Pregnant cast members to have lost their lives.

Valerie Fairman, who appeared in the second season of the show, passed away at age 23 after reportedly being found dead in 2016. It was a case of drug overdose as authorities mentioned.

Jordan Cashmyer, who was in the show in 2014, also shook the 16 and Pregnant cast when she passed away due to fentanyl and cocaine intoxication, as per official reports. Cashmyer was 27 at the time of her death in January 2022. The news came merely nine days after she celebrated her birthday.

Most recently, it was Sean Garinger's death. He's the father of Selena Gutierrez's baby who appeared on 16 and Pregnant Season 6. He died at 20 in February this year following a horrific ATV accident.

The tragic accident happened while he was "just moving [the ATV] from one parking spot to the next" in front of his residence in Boone, North Carolina. According to the statement shared by his mother with The US Sun, the ATV flipped, crushing Garinger's skull and eventually causing his death.
