The Later Daters premiered on Friday, November 29, 2024. It showcased the stories of six older singles who wanted to give love another shot. One such individual was 62-year-old Anise, who aimed to find her perfect match on one of her blind dates. Although she was excited about her first date, George, it did not take long for her to realize he was not the one.

Anise participated in the social experiment to find her life partner. Her love life had taken the back seat ever since she lost her first husband and high school sweetheart in an accident. With the help of dating coach, Ury, Anise wanted to find someone who would appreciate her for who she was and not feel insecure because she had a doctorate.

The Later Daters star wanted to overcome her self-sabotaging tendencies and lead a steady love life. However, her hopes were crushed when she met her first date, George, in episode 1. Anise felt overwhelmed and could not wait for the date to end when George asked her if her three kids had the same father and if she had any cosmetic surgeries done.

Anise's first impression of George was positive. The Later Daters star liked his appearance and said he seemed like a "nice guy." While speaking to the cameras, George shared his first impression of Anise.

"She's my kind of beautiful. That's all I can say. My type of eye candy," he said.

George and Anise started discussing interests and family dynamics. When Anise revealed she had three kids, George surprised her by asking if they had the same father. Although The Later Daters star laughed it off, she noted that the question was "awful."
