"A bit much"— Beast Games fans divided by Player 952 playing the "race card" during her elimination

Beast Games season 1 aired episode 7 this week on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The segment saw the cast face a "brutal" elimination task as described by the host, Mr. Beast. In a quest to find the Top 10, Mr. Beast blindfolded and took the players next to a train track where he asked them to pick a leader.

The contestants picked Player 539 after he successfully took out a "common enemy" when he eliminated Player 406 in episode 6. He picked his three least favorite players — 952, 182, and 626. He then had to choose between saving them and saving his brand-new Lamborghini. The cast member chose the latter and ended the three contestants' journey.

Fans of the reality show commented on Player 952's elimination and praised Akira for eliminating her. One person wrote on X:

"Yeah, I’ve liked 952 until she decided to play race card when Akira chose the 3 black women. That was a bit much. None of it was because of race."

"THANK GOODNESS This Player was Disgusting,Rude,Greedy,and Horrible. To say God was going to do this and that I know you using him like you did was Shameful that’s just my opinion of course but Also The Way She treated Akira was Pathetic Good Riddance," a fan commented.

"No offense but player 952 in #BeastGames is just a bitter lady, she won’t step up for any leadership role but would always start hating the other players' choice like she is any better. She feels entitled," a tweet read.

Some Beast Games fans defended Mia's comments:

"952 got an island still! Everyone mad that she “played the race card” can kiss her a**! It’s not a coincidence Akira chose 3 Black women. That’s why his a** got eliminated!" a person wrote.

"Exactly! Others literally said they didn’t know him either but yet he picks three black women! Ppl defending him because they woulda done the same and wouldn’t wanna be shamed. It’s such implicit bias that he chose black girls he didn’t know over the others!" a fan commented.

"I just want to say that Akira choosing to eliminate 3 black females is foul. But I love it, cos 952 went out. She’s my least favorite person on the show," a tweet read.

Beast Games season 1 fans further said:

"952 being gone has FINALLY happened. That POS should’ve been out a long time ago, she has shown that she’s a horrible person and finally she reaped what she had been sowing. Good riddance," a person wrote.

"It's unfair for 952 to be singled out. She won the island because she chose to take the risk the others didn't take. Though she also went too far with that subtle race card," a fan commented.

"You were a scaredy cat"— Player 952 clashes with Player 539 in Beast Games episode 7

In Beast Games, season 1 episode 7, Akira, or Player 539 was picked as the first captain after taking out Player 406 in the previous episode. He picked Player 952, 626, and 182 from the lot.

Mack asked him why he picked Player 952, Akira said she won an island and felt like that was "plenty to go home with." He added that other players on Beast Games were "deserving of it as well." As he explained why he picked 626, Mia told the cameras that the "good old boys" were stuck again.

"Seems like it's all black females. What does that tell you?" Player 952 added.

After the contestant picked his three least favorite contestants, the host had them stand on the red train track. If he chose to save it, Mr. Beast then revealed that the yellow train track had a Lamborghini that belonged to Akira. The Beast Games season 1 contestant picked the car and eliminated three contestants from the Prime Video show.

The Beast Games contestant apologized to the cast members but Player 182 said she didn't want to talk to him. Player 952 said they were "good" but told him he wouldn't last. Akira told the three that they deserved better and was apologetic it came down to it.

"You proved that you were a scaredy cat," Mia said.

Fans of the Prime Video show commented on Mia's elimination and were divided by her comments about Akira allegedly choosing her because of her race.
